Chapter 14: For Our Allies!

Everyone mainly goofs off for the next few days. They earn some pocket money and Risa even gets a little boost with her augments, but the time has come for the fifth boss...

William: "A message?"

William finds a message from Zack getting everyone together.

William: "Next boss today."

Risa zooms out the door.

William: "Of course she leaves me behind again."

William hurries out of his house and catches up to Risa and the others in front of a login.

Zack: "Now that we're all here let's get going."

William: "(exhausted) Let me catch my breath."

William calms down a little as he breathing becomes steadier.

Risa: "Are you okay?"

William: "Now I'm ready."

Everyone logs in.

Micheal: "So boss number five."

Emily: "Well now we need to exit here and find the structure equivalence for both games."

Anthony: "Well Isabel and I have never been there."

Asaka: "Why?"

Kyle and the twins shudder.

Kyle: "Aegis got the fifth boss to team up with the fourth."

Asaka: "Oh..."

They casually walk into the outskirts.

Robert: "(thinking) But what does Anti-Aegis hope to gain from this?'

Within half an hour they arrive at a fallen coliseum.

Cole: "This should be the place."

Serena: "Well if we ended up at the same spot then it would be correct."

Andrea: "Well the boss won't beat itself."

Shining Hope walks up to an entrance.

Roy: "Well let's go."

The group walks inside to find a dark torchlight hallway.

William: "Coming back here always make me feel like a gladiator."

Andrea: "How do you know how a gladiator felt?"

Everyone awkwardly stares at William.

William: "(awkwardly) Uh..."

They see a light down the hallway.

Zack: "Here we go."

They step into the light to arrive in the arena.

Tori: "(readying bow) There it is."

A griffon sits atop an ancient throne.

Emily: "Let's win."

Two arrows hit the griffon's side, causing it to react.

William: "Gale Grenade!"

William hits the rider with a blast of wind.

Risa: "(rushing up) How about a bit of this?!"

Risa jumps from beneath it as she uppercuts the gut.

???: "Play..."

Micheal: "Is the boss talking?!"

Boss: "... time..."
