Chapter 20: For the Price of Two

Risa is sitting in her room reading a manga involving a kid with pointy ears, a tail, and blue flames on the cover.

Risa: "(daydreaming) Yukio..."

A knock is heard from her door.

Risa: "Come in."

Roy walks in.

Roy: "(turning around) Thanks William."

William is standing behind Roy.

William: "Just note that were going in an hour."

As Roy walks in, William walks away.

Risa: "Hey Roy."

Roy sees Risa's manga.

Roy: "Nice choice. Let me guess, you prefer Yukio?"

Risa: "(blushing) Maybe."

Roy pulls out a manga with a blond kid in a red coat.

Risa: "That's one of my favorite anime!"

Roy sits down next to Risa.

Roy: "Well why don't we just talk for a bit. Zack had sent a message to meet in an hour."

Risa puts a slip of paper on the page she's on and puts it in a slot on a MASSIVE bookshelf.

Risa: "Kind of funny how my favorite character is named Roy."

Roy: "(blushing) Y-Yeah."

The two begin to talk about their favorite anime and how they first got into it for fifty-five minutes, until...

Roy: "(checking time) We've gotta go."

Risa: "O-Okay."

The two walk out the door to find William waiting.

William: "I was wondering when you guys were ready."

Risa walks past William.

Risa: "Well let's get past the ninth boss and get to the grand finale."

Roy follows.

Roy: "Let's do this!"

The three head to the usual building to find the others.

Micheal: "Everyone here?"

Isabel and Emily do a quick head count.

Emily: "Yeah we're good."

Serena gets close to William again.

Serena: "Well let's go William."

William: "(creeped out) I-I-I'm j-just going to go now..."

The Shining Star half walk inside as the Knights of Hope half insert their ID Cards.

Andrea: "William, you do know she has a crush on you right?"

William: "(blushing) I-I had a feeling."

Anthony: "Dude, if I were in your situation, I'd at least give her a chance."

Micheal: "Imagine how Kyle would be acting right now."

They step into scanner rooms.

Isabel: "(in head) They don't have to force it."

They log in and meet up with the others.

Edo: "Well the ninth boss should be a dragon for us."

Anthony: "Uh..."

Asaka: "What are you thinking?"

Isabel: "That should be us too!"

They all have a sudden realization.
