Chapter 8: Knowing Each Other

Next morning...

William: "(yawning, knocking on door) You awake Risa?"

Risa: "(annoyed) Don't rush me!"

Risa exits the room ten minutes later with a completely different style of clothing than yesterday.

William: "(confused) This is a complete change from yesterday!"

Risa has a hairpin with a skull and crossbones in her hair, her shirt is white and has the Japanese symbol for water, short shorts with a pink belt, and her socks go up to her knees covered in orange circles.

Risa: "I only dressed like that yesterday because I didn't want people staring at me on the plane."

William: "That makes... a lot more sense now."

The two head downstairs and finish their breakfast when William and Risa get a message on their gloves.

William: "(mouth full) What is it?"

William finds a message from Andrea to meet at her place.

William: "(swallowing) But the others have no idea where you live."

William sends that and Micheal says he'll get them.

Risa: "(sighing) I'll grab some of my manga."

The two finish eating and Risa grabs a manga book with a girl with crimson red hair next to a demon looking man.

William: "Well follow me."

William's mom is at work so they lock up and head to a mansion a few blocks away.

Risa: "(in awe) Whoa!"

William: "Here we are."

William steps on to the property.

Risa: "She lives here?!"

William: "Micheal does too. The Kain family is actually really big in the trade industry."

The two step inside to find Andrea, the twins, Kyle, and Robert sitting in the foyer.

Anthony: "Michael should be on his way back with the others."

William: "You should've seen her out front."

Risa sits in a corner and begins reading.

Kyle: "... Interesting choice of clothing."

The door opens up and the others walk through.

Tori: "(in awe) You two live here?"

Roy: "(jealous) Lucky..."

Roy sees Risa reading her manga.

Roy: "(fascinated) You read manga too?"

Risa: "(looking up) Yeah."

Zack: "Uh oh..."

Isabel: "(confused) What?"

Emily: "Manga debate."

Roy and Risa go in talking about manga.

Edo: "Let's go into a different room."

As Roy and Risa continue their discussion, the others head into the next room where a wide assortment of cookies and drinks await them.

Isabel/ Emily: "(in a trance) Cookies..."

Anthony: "Aaaannnd I forgot about Isabel and her-"

Emily and Isabel begin devouring the cookies.

Anthony: "... cookie addiction."

Micheal: "Do you keep cookies in your apartment?"

Anthony: "Nope, and here's the reason."
