Anthony's POV

Eventually, I fell asleep from the exhaustion of crying. Soon, I heard a weak voice calling to me.

"Anthony?" It said hoarsely. The voice was Ian! My Ian! I jumped up, making myself dizzy and ran over to him. I crashed his lips onto mine as we passionately kissed and hugged. We were both crying.

Ian looked at his hand to find the note gone. "Did you-"

"Yes..." I sobbed. I hugged him even harder. "I'll never leave you again. I love you so much and I never want to see you like this again ever."

"What about-"

"Kalel? Screw her." I said, smiling a bit.

Ian leaned in to kiss me again. Just as our lips were about to touch, a doctor walked into the room.

"Oh," He said. "Did I interrupt something?"

"No," We both said. Honestly, I was eager for whatever news he had about Ian.

I glanced at Ian from the corner of my eye. He was frantic, breathing rapidly, sweating, and he looked super weak. I held his hand.

"Well, Mr. Hecox, I have some bad news." Ian and I looked at eachother, our eyes wide in fear.

"You seem to be in a state of hypovolemic shock." The doctor said.

"What?" Ian and I said.

"You lost so much blood that your heart is unable to pump enough around your body. Usually, this is very lethal, but we have everything to treat you, except for an extra pint of blood." The doctor said.

"Take a pint of my blood. Ian and I have the same blood type." I said hopefully.

The doctor smiled. "That's very thoughtful of you, Mister..."

"Padilla." I finished.

The doctor smiled again. Ian was so confused. Poor guy. I wish I could kiss him and tell him that everything would be okay, but this was serious business.

"Ian, please lay down." The doctor directed.

Ian did as told. The doctor pulled a blanket out of a closet and gave it to Ian. Ian put it over him.

"We have to warm you up to avoid hypothermia." The doctor said calmly.

"Wait." Ian said. "Can he come into the bed with me?" He pointed to me.

"I don't see why not," The doctor smiled widely.

Next the doctor elevated Ian's feet. "I'll be back with the medicine." He said, then left.

Ian hugged me in fear. He shut his eyes tightly.

"I don't want to die anymore," He whispered, scared. "Now that I have you, I have everything I could want or need." Silent tears fell down my cheeks. Ian was in pure panic mode.

"Shh, shh, shh." I tried calming him down.

The doctor came back with four large needles in his hands. Ian began shaking in fear. I held his hand as the doctor injected each needle into the one part of his arm not damaged.

"Mr. Padilla, come with me."

I kissed Ian and followed the doctor out of the room.

"Mr. Padilla," He started.

"Just call me Anthony." I cut him off.

"Okay, Anthony, turns out we were incorrect about how much blood we need from you. Ian lost 3.9 pints of blood which was 0.1 off from being lethal. He's still in shock, and his body is slowly producing blood back, but it's not enough. His organs are shutting down." The doctor sighed. "If you're the same blood type as him, we can take your blood. So instead of one pint, we will need two to ensure his survival."

I nodded insanely. "Okay." Was all I could say. The doctor lead me to a room and took two pints of my blood. I was dizzy, but I felt fine. I watched as the doctor inserted my blood into Ian, and I couldn't help but cry tears of Joy when the color flushed back into his skin.

"Anthony, he's doing very well now. There are no complications." The doctor smiled.

"When can he leave?" I asked.

"Tomorrow!" He smiled.

Ian and I looked at each other in excitement. It was super late, so I crawled into the bed with him. The doctor left the room, and we lay there, cuddling and kissing. "You don't know how much I missed this," Ian said.

Eventually, we fell asleep, warm in eachother's arms.
