Truth be told Tyler was the only one who knew what Emma was like, he knew almost everything there was to know about her. Without him she had no one to call when the night got cold and she couldn't even walk straight without throwing up from the bad batch. Vicky was Mia, Elena and Jenna would scold her and never let it go, Her little brother would follow in her footsteps, Bonnie would pity her and Caroline would never let her live it down. There was no one she could call to take care of her, no one that knew. So she opted for someone that didn't know, someone she didn't want to be tainted by her grieving darkness, but she had no choice.

She sat on a rock on the side of the road, her body shaking as she tried to stay warm and waiting for help to come. Her lips were dried and she reeked of her own vomit mixed with Mary Jane and vodka, this was not her first time in a dark corner, and it surely wouldn't be her last.

So when the head lights of a fading blue truck came into play she tried her hardest to stand without falling over. which seemed doubtful till then, and sure enough her figure was seen from the outside the truck and it pulled over, a larger figure rushing out to her side.

"Jesus, Emma, your freezing" he said wrapping his jacket around, and trying his hardest not to inhale to mixed toxic fumes that were radiating off her.

She groaned as she was lead to the passage side of the truck, unable to make a sarcastic comment she let the heat warm her up while he closed the door and looped around the drivers side.

Her head leaned against the window, her eyes glued shut, "don't take me home" she managed to say while shifting from the pain that sprung from her stomach, "please, Matty, anywhere but home."

Said boy glanced on her before his eyes were glued back onto the road, "where am i suppose to take you then?" he question, but received no answer. He glanced in her direction to see her officially passed out. He sighed looking back at the road, it was going to be a long night for them both.

Emma hummed sighed as she woke up, pushing herself off the bed she laid in. She rubbed her eyes before glancing around, taking note the room she was in was not her own. With furrowed brows she looked down, taking note that she was still in her clothes from the night prior, relief washed over her since she didn't partially remember the night. She got up and moved out of the bedroom, the room she was pretty sure was Vicky's had she been in the girls room before. But shrugging it off she walked through the halls of the familiar home and made her way to the kitchen, making herself at home as she began to raid the fridge for food.

The door behind her creeped open and with a mouth full of a ham and cheese sandwich she turned around noticing Vicky sneaking in. Shoes in hand, as well as the green dress that she was wearing for the party. Her head tilted as she watched her friend quietly close the door behind her.

"Well look whose home before the baby brother wakes up" Emma mused startling the girl who jumped, almost dropping her heels.

Vicky snapped her head in the direction of her friend, "Emma! What the hell?!" She whisper yelled and the younger of her go two shrugged as she closed the fridge and continued to eat the sandwich. "What are you doing here? It's barley five in the morning."

Emma shrugged, still not remembering how smashed she got, "don't know." She shrugged taking a moment to swallow the food in her mouth, "Woke up in your bed- but I'm pretty sure I got hammered and called Matt to pick me up."

Vicky rolled her eyes seeing her things down in here kitchen table before taking a seat at it, "you and Tyler still not talking?" Emma shook her head, "good, he's a monumental ass" Emma snorted having said that way to many times herself. "Seriously, the whole night we sat on a stupid bench away from the party."
