Chapter 12: Break

It's has been 2 weeks since the Welcome Party. I've been really sad and stuck in my room all these days crying and talking to Alana. I wake up to my phone vibrating on my night stand. I got a text from Alana. Wht time is it? Ugh 9:30am. I don't feel like doing anything today. I real Alana's text and reply.

Alana: Hey gurl, I know ur sad about the whole Nash thing. So I have an idea. Wanna go to my house? My old friend is coming. U can meet her. She will be here by 12:15.

I slowly reply to her.

Me: Okay. Sounds good. I'll meet u there.

I slowly get up. Tired, but I brush my teeth and get dressed. I just put my All Time Low crop top and some skinny jeans. I loose my hair wich appears to be straight today. Strange. I put my black vans.

After about an hour I'm all teady, then I go down and eat some breakfast. Just cereal since I wasn't in the mood for eating.

My family was still sleeping so I just sent them a text telling them where I'm going and I leave.

Tem whole minutes walking to Alana's house. I knock on the door.

"Hey Val!" Alana says with a smile and hugs me.

"Hi" I say trying to smile.

"I know you're sad. It's not easy...." She says and pauses.

"I want you to meet someone." Alana says after about a 3 second silence.

"Okay." I say.

I enter the house and see a tall girl about 17 years old with straight brown hair. She looks like a nice person.

"This is Laura Victoria. Laura, this is Valerie." She says as she introduces us.

"Nice to meet you, Valerie." Laura Victoria says.

"Nice to meet you too, Laura. Are you from here?" I ask with curiosity, cause she didn't look from the US.

"No, I'm from Mexico." Laura Victoria says with a big smile on her face.

"Oh cool. I'm from Puerto Rico." I smile lightly.

"Yeah she's from those families that put REALLY long names on them." Alana days laughing.

"What do you mean?" I asked kind of knowing what she ment.

"My families always put long names on eachother. My actuall full name is Laura Victoria de la Guadalupe Rosario Teresa Soto Gonzáles Martínez Castillo López Vázques Palacio Méndes Mendosa Pardo, but just call me Laura because everyone calls me that. " She says.

"Zayum! That IS long. I feel so sorry for you." I say chuckling.

"It's ok. I got really used to it." She smiles.

"Oh. And do you have any family members here or friends besides Alana?" I ask.

"Well actually I moved here with my family, and I met Carter, he's my boyfriend." She says.

I gasp happily. "Really?! Omh I didn't know Carter had a girlfriend? Thats so adorable!"

"Yeah." She smiles.

We all talked in the livingroom like for two hours. We laughed, talked, gossipped. I even told her the whole Nash thing.

"I'm hungry. Let's go eat!" Alana says rubbling her stomach.

"Me too. Hey how about Olive Garden?" Laura asked.

"Yes! I love it." I smile.

"Just as much as you love Nash." Alana said smirking. I playfully hit her shoulder.

"Shut up." I say.

"This is delicious!" Laura said eating her first piece of Lasagna.

"Of course it is!" Alana said.

Before I could say anything I recieve a text. From Nash...

Nash: Valerie please talk to me. I've been calling you and you don't reply. We need to talk. I can't be like this with you. I love you...

I think while I was reading this a small tear ran down my face, but I quickly cleaned it. It's true, I haven't answered his calls not texts. I can't reply now...

"You ok?" Alana asks looking at me.

I just stare at both of them saldy, then they quickly knew what happened.

"It's ok Valerie. Look, I think you should give him a chance. He made one mistake. If he really didn't mean it he won't do it ever again." Laura said.

"Yes, thats exactly what I mean. Go and give him one more chance. I belive in second chances and you should to." Alana said calming me down.

I think I know what I'm gonna do...

Hey guys I'm SO sorry I didn't update when I said I was going to! Ugh I feel terrible!! It's been like 2 weeks. I don't have writers block, I've just been busy!
