As soon as Bailey and Mom were about to toast to new beginnings, Dad and I walked in. Bailey tried to act surprise but she was not a good actress. Mom stood up and tears began to fall off her cheeks. I ran up to her as fast as I can, almost knocking her over, and I gave her a big hug. We were both squealing,  and did not let go of each other.

In that moment, I knew I had my mother back and it meant everything to me. As I was squeezing everything I had to hugging our mom. My sister Bailey was doing the same with our dad. We were both spending time with the opposite parent we grew up with.

"Tell your Father to come see me, when he is done please. I would like to talk to him." Mom said blushing.

"Yes ma'am, I'm glad your back Mom. I have missed y'all so much!" I said giving Mom another tight hug.

As much as I wanted to talk with my Mom, I knew my Dad needed it more. Deep down we all wanted them back together again.

"Hey Mom wants to talk to you, when you get a chance," I said winking at Dad.

"Yes ma'am," he said laughing as he walked away.

I walked over to Bailey, as Dad went and sat by mom. I started to think that this was the start of something new.

"Hello beautiful, how are you today?" He asked.

"I'm doing great, what about you?" Mom asked.

"I just want to let you know, I have not been with any woman, since I been with you. You stole my heart from day one," He said trying to hold back his tears.

Her eyes filled with tears, and dad wanted to comfort her, but he knew it was out of happiness.

"I always prayed we would see each other again. I hope you consider coming to live with us. We have plenty of room for you and Bailey," He exclaimed.

"Bailey and I would love to come live with you two, as long as we can take things slow. I would hate to rush things like we did before. I want to make it right this time, I hope you understand that," She said sincerely.

"Of course I do not mind taking things slow with you, as long as it makes you happy then I am okay with it," He said.

As Dad moves closer to mom, he places both of his hands on her cheeks, and he begins to kiss her. Almost like it was the last kiss he would ever get, it was love.

It is official that Mom and Bailey were moving in. Dad had plenty of money to pay someone to pack their belongings and ship them over to us. Instead of them going to get it, we all rode back to Dads house. We were three hours away from home and in Georgia still. I was excited that our family was one again.

After three hours of riding in the car, we finally made it back home. We pulled up in the driveway and came to a complete stop. I grabbed Bailey's hand and pulled her to her new room.

"This is your new room," I said.

"I love it! So what do you do for fun around here?" Bailey asked.

"Well their is this graveyard down the highway we always go to, if you want to go," I insisted.

"Are you kidding me? I would love to go! She said jumping up and down.

"I will meet you in the car after I tell Dad where we are going," I shouted as I walked away.

"Hey Bailey and I are going to the graveyard. I want to show her Grandpa," I nervously said.

"Drive safe and be back before midnight please." Dad said as I gave him a hug.

I ran to the car where I met Bailey and we took off to the graveyard. As we arrived I went and showed her some of Dad's side of the family who had passed. I told her the things Dad would tell me if he was here.

Some of them I have not even met before so I wondered about them to. We paid our respects and headed home, as it was getting late.

We pulled into the driveway and stepped outside the car. As soon as we got out of the car, we both had two guns pointing at our heads. Two men whispered... "If you two make a noise, I'll kill you both."
