I am sorry if I confused anyone in the chapter previous. I was trying to get a few people Point Of View. But I guess I confused some of you all. This story is only a rough draft. I have these ideas that come to me (sometimes) and I just feel the need to write. I appreciate all the support but I am sorry for the confusion!!
*Halley's Point Of View*
The ride to the hospital was awfully short. I felt almost if I have not slept is days. My head was aching, almost as if I had a bad migraine but worse. I could feel the trucks engine cut off as we pulled up to the hospital. I slowly woke up and eased myself out the door. Bailey and Aiden helped me out of the truck and into the hospital. It definitely was not an emergency, but I felt like I could pass out any minute now. Light, sounds, movement, all of them made my head hurt worse, but it was only one side of my head where the bruise was. Bailey was waiting for the next available nurse, while Aiden walked me to sit down in the waiting area."Hey Halley, how are you feeling? You don't look too good," Aiden asked, I could see the concern in his eyes. They were begging me to say something.
"Yeah I feel fine!" I tried to convince myself and him.
"I don't believe that for one minute. At the house, you looked like a ghost. And now your turning pale. I know your head hurts with the bruise on your face," he tried to comfort me.
"You want to know the truth?" I asked.
"Well of course I do, your like a little sister to me. Way more than just a cousin," he mumbled.
"I feel like shit! My head is pounding everywhere. I feel so hungry and thirsty but I'm sick to my stomach. My 'brother Ethan' is dying and I'm at the hospital. I despise hospitals with a passion." I replied feeling out of breath. I laid my head down next to Aiden's lap and fell asleep.
"Hey how is she feeling?" Bailey asked.
"She's doing a little bit better but she's in pain," he replied.
"They should be getting her in a room in about five or so minutes. We just have to wait." Bailey mumbled, putting her headphones in her ear.
About ten minutes later they called for me. Aiden helped me walk to the room and laid me down on the uncomfortable hospital bed. The hospital is fairly small compared to the other ones in the city. The emergency room was quite big and roomy. The bed was very uncomfortable and really hard to get comfortable. I tossed and turned for what seemed like hours, until I looked at the clock and it was only five minutes.
"Hello, I am Doctor Miller. What seems to be going on today?" He asked.
"Well you see Doctor, I have been having a lot of stress lately. I lost my recent memory for a day or two. And then I woke up with this giant bruise on half of my face. My whole head is pounding and aching. Sometimes it feels like someone is stabbing me in my skull. I have had migraines in the past before but nothing compared to this. And I have not been eating a whole lot either," I explained.
"Ah I see the problem. How long has the stabbing and pounding pains been?" He asked again.
"It's been two or three days since. Ever since all the stress build up. I really can't remember much the past few days. Is their something wrong with me doctor?"
"Of course. I will set up a MRI scan as soon as possible. Meanwhile, I want you to get some fluids in your body. Approximately two bags of fluids at least and after that we will get the MRI scan set up. The best advice I can give you, is plenty of rest and when is the last time you ate?" His brow furrowed, when he asked me.
