After falling fast asleep, my mind slipped off into a dream. But this dream did not seem fake, every moment felt real. Dad was in the special forces for our government. He had his own group to fight with him by his side. Even though it cannot be true, but every moment felt real than ever. I wanted to scream and shout but I could not. Dad was the leader and he was teaching Bailey and I how to fight just like him. I could never be a fighter, I am too weak, but not Bailey. Dad handed everyone guns and armor and we all started shooting. It looked like the island I was on, when we got 'kidnapped'. But when we arrived their was other men there to. We all out of the boat and started shooting our guns, but then I woke up.
When I woke up, it was midnight and Bailey was sound asleep on the couch next to me. I leaned over to grab the remote to turn the television on. When I turned on the tv, It said three o' clock in the morning. When I went to sleep it was eleven o' clock at night, but there is no way I slept two days already.
"Pssst Bailey!" I whispered. "Pssst please wake up!"
"Yeah?" Bailey said moving around and yawning.
"How long have I been sleeping?" I asked, waiting for her to stop yawning.
"You seriously wake me up, to ask how long it's been? At least your getting sleep!" She paused.
"It's been three days since you last went to sleep. I'm not a hundred percent sure because I have to sleep to you know? But I think it's been three, why you asking at three AM?" Her attitude was coming out. Bailey was not a morning person and anyone who woke her up knew that.
"I'm sorry. Just go back to sleep grouchy!" I teased her, but she just ignored me and went back to sleep.
It has been three days since I went to sleep last, I thought to myself. Three whole days, and I slept through it like it was nothing. It was obvious my body was trying to fight off something. After the well needed rest I got, felt a lot better. Besides that I was starving.
I grabbed the hospital remote and called for the nurse. After about ten minutes of just laying their a nurse finally walked in.
"Oh hello. We didn't know when you were going to awake. I bet your starving or in pain? Do you need some ice chips or anything?" She was very friendly.
"Yes ma'am all the above please! I'm starving and my head is pounding. I feel rested but I'm still so very weak," I replied trying to make it to the bathroom.
"Oh let me help you! It's been almost four days you were asleep, your body was telling you something," She informed me, as she held my waist and helped me to the bathroom.
"Thank you so much, I would of peed in my pants if you weren't here," we both laughed.
I did my business and flushed. The friendly nurse helped me back into the, not so comfortable bed again.
"I'll be right back with some breakfast and ice chips with juice. The doctor will come in later on today and check up on you. We knew that you needed rest Ms. Halley," she smiled turned around and shut the door behind her.
I found me a movie and laid there, waiting for some food and relief. About thirty minutes later, breakfast had arrived. The moment the cafeteria lady walked in with food, Bailey was awake. She would never wake up for anything, but get this girl some food and she would be ready to take on the world.
After Bailey and I finished all of the breakfast, Mom and Dad came up there to check on us. Bailey had called them already, to tell them I was awake.
