Ponyboy had a great life living with his mom and dad in houston. He kept his grades up and kept his promise to darry and soda, returning home every summer.
When he was 15 he was blessed with a baby sister, whom he adored. Pony was very over protective of his baby sister who his parents had named destiny rain curtis. Bobby and liz felt it was the perfect name for her with everything that happened.
Pony loved living in in houston, he didn't have to worry about greasers or soc and he could just be a normal kid. He made lots of great friends.
At just 17 years old ponyboy was excepted into college. He had a bunch to choose from, but decided to go to the state of Oklahoma university. He didn't want to be too far from his family.
Darry and soda, along with the gang and ponyboys sign language teacher, made the journey to texas to watch ponyboy get his deploma. They were all so proud that even dally shed a tear.
"The future can be anything you want it to be" pony said as he ended his speach. He had also been named valedictorian.
