At first it was hard letting ponyboy go. But darry new it was the right thing to do. He looked forward to the summer when the little boy who was once his would return home.
Darry had a lot of free time, so he started dating. He even took kate (pony's teacher) out. Turns out the two had a lot in commen.
They got married almost two years after their first date.
Darry and kate were anxiously waiting for the doctor to give them the results they had been waiting for. "Well mrs curtis" the doctor spoke. She took her husbands hand in hers. "You are pregnant". Darry kissed his wife. They were both so happy.
Sodapop took ownership of the dx. Steve no longer worked there. He and evie got married and moved out of tulsa. They both decided they wanted a better life for their family, should they have one. Soda and steve still keep in touch.
Soda isn't married yet, but he's currently dating again. Surprise surprise he's back with sandi. But they are taking things very slowly. In fact its so slow they have decided to wait til marrage to sleep together. They are currently engaged.
