These Four Walls

Thirteen

All my classes are done for the day and Harry and I are walking hand in and back to the car. "While you were in class I was looking at rooms for rent." Harry tells me as he opens the car door for me.

Campus security was able to find out who broke into Harry's car. His car is now being repaired and thank God he has a rental until it gets fixed.

He begins to drive to the hotel, "And I found this basement suite, close to campus and it's really cheap. It's fully furnished and everything." He continues.

"And?" I ask him, I don't know what he's going on about. "Well, I met with the landlord earlier and I rented it for us." He tells me carefully.

"You did what? Harry! We don't have the money to do that!" I scold him and smack his arm.

"Well, technically we do. Well, I do... When my mom died she left me an inheritance and I really haven't found anything to spend it on." He explains to me.

"Harry, I can't ask you to do that. I know things are rough between me and everyone but it'll probably be easier if I just go back to my dorm room." I tell him.

"No Jade, I want to keep you safe and I want you to live with me." He tells me sternly.

"We're moving in tomorrow after school. I don't want to hear another word." He adds as he parks the car at the hotel.

We quickly hop out and head for our room when my phone starts ringing. I check to see who is calling and Perrie's picture shows up.

"It's Perrie... what do I say to her?" I ask Harry and he just gives me a smile. "Whatever you want to babe. She's your best friend, she will understand everything."

I take a deep breath and answer the phone, "Hello?" She starts yelling over the phone. "Where are you?" She asks.

"I'm with Harry." I tell her. "Why the hell are you with him? Jesy was right about everything! I thought she was just messing with me! Come home now Jade!" She yells at me.

"No Pez, don't listen to anything Jesy tells you. She doesn't know the truth about anything! Please lets just meet up and I'll explain everything to you." I tell her and she agrees.

I tell her I'll be in our dorm in half an hour. It's the perfect opportunity to tell Perrie that I am moving in with Harry for now and to explain everything that has been going on.

"Do you want me to drive you?" Harry asks and I shake my head. "I'll be okay, I need to do this alone."

I quickly change my clothes and wash my face. Harry hands me the keys and gives me a kiss before I drive back to the dorms.

I park the car and muster up the courage to get out and face my best friend. I walk to our room and knock three times.

"Jade." She says as soon as she opens the door and leans in for a hug. This felt very familiar but new at the same time.

I step inside our small room and look around. It's only been a couple of days but I already miss this place.

"So please, tell me everything." She asks me and I look at her as I sit on my tiny bed.

"First, what did Jesy tell you?" I ask her and she sighs, "She said you were cheating on Liam and the rumours of Harry and this mystery girl was true and it was you all along. She said you lied to her about it." She says to me.

I nod at her, "Yeah, I guess you could look at it that way. Liam and I were never official, we never said we couldn't see other people." I explain her and she just nods.

"But Jade, this isn't you. Dating two guys at once? What the heck is that all about?" She questions me.

"Why don't you ask Zayn?" I challenge her. I'm sick of the words 'this isn't you'. I don't even know who I really am anymore!
