It's been two weeks since I saw my parents. Perrie and I are in the best terms possible. She's still heartbroken but she's coping.
Jesy has been keeping herself busy with extra curricular activities, we talk from time to time but I know she's trying to be strong and get over this herself. She knows I'm here if she needs me.
Leigh's now living with Perrie since I told the school I'm no longer staying in the dorms. She still hasn't talked to Jesy since everything went down but she misses her a lot. She's started seeing Liam and I am very happy for them both.
Harry and I have been in our own little bubble. We've done nothing but be in each other's company the last two weeks and I am in pure bliss.
"So have you given any thought about wanting to contact your real dad?" He asks as I set the table. Perrie and Jesy are coming over for dinner tonight.
"No, not really. What if he doesn't want to meet me anyway? I'm just in such a good place right now, I don't want anything bad to happen." I tell him.
"But you never know Jade. What if he does want to meet you?" He questions me as he finishes cooking the pasta.
"Why is this so important to you?" I wonder, for the past two weeks he brings him up every chance he gets. I just don't know why.
"I just don't want you to miss out on knowing your dad Jade." He tells me as he sets the food down on the table.
The doorbell rings and I leave to get the door. Perrie and Jesy are standing in the doorway with smiles.
"Got some wine! Look at us being adults." Perrie laughs as she gives me a hug. "Hi Jade, how are you?" Jesy asks me as I hug her.
"Good, how are you doing?" I ask her as I take their coats and put it away for them. "I'm alright, something smells good!" She yells and heads straight for the kitchen.
Harry is sitting at the head of the table when I join them, "Dinner is served." He jokes and gestures towards his cooking.
Perrie and Jesy take seats opposite of me. "So how are things Jes?" I ask my sister as she's getting food for herself.
"Things are good, I've joined a few more clubs so I'm meeting lots of new people." She tells us and I just nod.
"That's great Jesy!" Perrie exclaims as Jesy passes her the bowl. Perrie has been focusing a lot of her time on school, which in turn is helping her grades.
"Have you looked up your dad at all Jade?" Perrie asks me out of the blue after a while.
I shake my head, "No, I don't intend to Perrie. I don't want to bother him. He doesn't even know I exist. It's too late now anyway." I tell her.
"Jade, it's never too late. You never know, maybe he wants to know you. I think you should look him up." Jesy cuts in.
I think about it for a minute. I am really curious about him, I know he thinks my mother got me aborted but what if he does want to get to know me?
I look at Harry and he looks nervous for once. It seems like he wants to say something but just can't say it.
"Harry, what's wrong?" I ask him. He looks up at me and bites his bottom lip. "I know you said you didn't want to look him up..." He starts.
"Please don't be angry, but I searched online for your dad and I did find a John Thirlwall online that used to work for the law firm that your mother worked at." He says.
"What?" I ask him to repeat his words, as they are not processing in my head. "He no longer works at that firm cause he has his own. He's kind of a big shot back in South Shields." Harry explains further.
