Chapter 16 - Journeying to Rainbow Rock

(I know Brock and Misty isn't supposed to appear in Pokemon Movie: I choose you, but I will make it happen. I don't own Pokemon and it's Company.)

Ash and his friends woke up in the morning finding themselves getting ready. "Alright today is the day!" Ash says as he was preparing his backpack. "Slow down Ash we're not in a hurry or anything!" Misty says. "Yea Ash." Brock says. "Besides why does she have to come along?" Misty says grumpy. "Come on it's not that bad she is nice!" Ash says making Misty upset. "Hmpf! I wish he comments me like that not her!" Misty thought to herself. Ash heard, but didn't care. "Whatever let's get a move on Verity!" Ash says grabbing her hand. Misty was jealous that Ash held her hand. "Eh?!" Verity says with a slight blush appearing on her cheek. "Oh sorry Verity" Ash says.

Ash and his friends walked outside and saw the sun shine across the sky. "Huh?" Ash says as his Rainbow wing started to glow, he pulls out his Rainbow Wing. Ash pointed the Rainbow wing towards the sky, then a rainbow appeared above him showing a path of rainbow's light going towards a mountain. "Woah there it is!" Ash says as he looks at the mountain. "That's the spot! Let's go!" Ash says as he was running ahead. "Hold up Ash, we're gonna get left behind!" Brock says. "Ugh here we go..." Cross says in a bad mood.

Ash and his friends were heading towards their destination as soon as they find themselves lost in the forest. "There you go again Ash!" Misty says angry. "H-hey... I'm sorry!" Ash says apologizing. "Hey Misty we are not lost just yet..." Cross says. "How would you know?" Misty says grumpy. "Well you see... We can find help over there." Cross says as he was pointing towards the person who was traveling nearby. "Hey you over there can you help us!" Ash says to the person over to their side. "Huh?" ??? says with a Pokemon by his side. "Hey a Pokemon!" Ash says as he pulls out a Pokedex.

Data not found...

"Huh?" Ash says. "Oh Ash! Sorry this Pokemon is not native to this region also it's a Lucario." Verity says behind Ash. "Oh..." Ash says disappointed. "Hello there, what are you doing out in this forest?" ??? says. "Oh we're uh.... On a journey!" Ash says as Ash's jacket glowed. "Hmm? What is that light?" ??? says. "O-oh that is nothing! Hahaha..." Ash says nervously. "Show me." ??? says. "Err fine!" Ash says as he pulls out his Rainbow Wing. "No way! You got the Rainbow Wing!" ??? says. "How do you know about the Rainbow Wing?" Ash says. "Sorry, by the way the names Sorrel, I came from the Sinnoh Region. I came here to research Pokemon from different Regions." Sorrel says. "The names Ash! Here are my other companions Verity, Misty, Brock, and Cross! We were on our way towards a mountain which Ho-oh was located." Ash says. "Oh you were? May I come as well? I never seen Ho-oh before in person!" Sorrel says. "Sure!" Ash says.

Ash and his friends also new friend Sorrel walked to the destination Ash was headed to. "Huh... It's getting late we should set up camp here." Ash says. "Okay." Brock says. Ash and his friends set up camp where they are and sat near the campfire as well as it was getting dark. "I researched about Ho-oh in the books and Ho-oh was never the Pokemon that always made human contact in the real world. It usually watches from above and seeks beginning trainers that it likes and flies over them giving a feather known as the Rainbow Wing to the trainer it likes." Sorrel says talking about a story about Ho-oh to Ash, Misty, Brock, Verity, and Cross. "Once there was a bell tower located in the Johto region that was used to communicate with the Pokemon known as Ho-oh we seek today, but lightning struck the tower engulfing it in flames, then rain came pouring down on the tower to extinguish the flames. Ever since that day, Ho-oh never returned, but Ho-oh created three Pokemon beings from flesh which represented the lightning that struck the tower, the flame that engulfed the tower, and the rain that extinguished the flames. These Pokemon were known as Raikou, Entei, and Suicune, these Pokemon were created to watch over humans that can be trusted." Sorrel says. "Oh! I just love Suicune!" Verity says with a smile. "So... Ho-oh could be watching us from above." Ash says. "Exactly Ash..." Sorrel says. "But why would Ho-oh trust Ash?" Cross says a little annoyed. "Maybe Ash has something that we all don't which is the love for Pokemon and people." Misty says correcting Cross. "Maybe..." Cross says. "Cool Ash you are a special person ya know?" Brock says. "Thanks Brock, maybe this is a good sign?" Ash says guessing. "Maybe..." Brock says. "Anyway we should get some rest tomorrow!" Ash states. "Okay." Ash's friends said. Ash and his friends slept the night off. However a Pokemon from the shadows were watching them, especially Ash and his Rainbow Wing. "Marshadow Marshadow... (Doing good keep it up for tomorrow...)" The Pokemon says behind Ash's shadow. Ash grunts as he felt unease from the Pokemon. "Marsha! (Whoops!)" The pokemon says.

In Ash's dream...

"Huh? Oh I'm here again." Ash says knowing where he was. "Why hello there Ash..." ??? says. "Oh hello there, but can you tell me your real name? Not who you are as in Aura Guardian." Ash says grumpy a little. "Oh yea sorry haha... My name is Sir Aaron the Aura User." Sir Aaron says. "Great name, now let's get started on my training!" Ash says prepared. "Okay let's start off with a little known as using the Aura to defend yourself and using it to fight for yourself or friends." Sir Aaron says as he showed him a pose to defend himself. "This pose is used to defend yourself and fight for yourself by either shooting it or holding it to block attacks from Pokemon." Sir Aaron says. "Urgh Ack guh!" Ash says as he was having a hard time using his Aura. "Focus Ash focus your aura into one spot and use it." Sir Aaron says. "Urgh Ack! Hmpf! Haf! Ah ha!" Ash says as he focused his aura into one spot finally. "Good you are getting the hang of it." Sir Aaron says. "Now time to prac.... Woah!" Sir Aaron says as he feels rumbling from Ash's dream. "Wha! I feel that too!" Ash says. "It's not coming off of me or you." Sir Aaron says. "I think something is interrupting this dream..." Sir Aaron says. "What does that mean?" Ash says. "Something is wrong..." Sir Aaron says as he sees darkness cover the room up. "What is that?" Ash says scared. "I don't know Ash, but it is going to be bad. Use your aura to defend yourself like our training!" Sir Aaron says. "What? But I didn't master the power of the aura yet!" Ash says making a point. "Maybe you haven't yet, but this will be training I'll show you!" Sir Aaron says seeing the darkness producing Unknown Pokemon that says, "Marshadow! (Rawr!)" Sir Aaron shoots an aura sphere from his hands and took out the Pokemon. "What was that? A Pokemon?" Ash says. "Maybe..." Sir Aaron says. "Whatever it was I'll take it down!" Ash says as he shoots his first Aura sphere at the Pokemon. "Marsha! (Ouch!)" The Pokemon says getting hurt. "Woah I did it my first try!" Ash says, "Watch out!" Sir Aaron says as another Pokemon jumps at Ash. "Ah!" Ash says as he quickly blocks the attack by using the aura. "So this is how it works... Is there a limit?" Ash says to Sir Aaron. "Yea don't use it too much, it will drain your energy." Sir Aaron answers. "You could show it to your companions I guess... But try not to get too hasty about your powers because great power comes great responsibility!" Sir Aaron says shooting down another Pokemon. "Okay!" Ash says as he took out another one too. "Is that all of them?" Ash says after shooting the last one. "I think so, the nightmare ended so you should wake up. Let's train next time we meet okay?" Sir Aaron says. "Sure!" Ash says as his vision got blurry.

"Wah!" Ash says as he wakes up in the morning seeing his friends woken up already. "Oh hello there Ashy did you have a bad dream?" Misty teases. "I am gonna decide to ignore that, but kinda." Ash replied. "Anyway we should get packing up! We got a Ho-oh to find!" Ash says as he packed up. "Wait! First let's have breakfast!" Brock says. Ash forgot and got embarrassed, "Whoops!" Ash says while Verity and Misty laughs. Ash and his friends ate their food and chatted. "Hey Ash! What kind of dream were you having?" Brock says. "Err... how should I put it... I had a tutor dream?" Ash says leaving his friends confused. "A tutor dream? What's that?" Misty says. "Err maybe a dream that was a nightmare because Ash doesn't like school?" Brock says. "Y-yes! That kind of dream Brock!" Ash says suspiciously. "Really Ash? You're such a baby." Verity says laughing. "Hey that's not funny!" Ash says angry. "It is!" Misty says laughing as well. "Whatever." Ash says eating his breakfast.

Ash finished eating breakfast as well as his friends too and are heading towards the mountain. Ash points the feather towards the sky and a rainbow appeared in the sky leading towards... "Oh that is Rainbow Rock!" Sorrel says. "Rainbow Rock?" Ash says confused. "Yeah that must be where Ho-oh is located!" Sorrel says. "Okay let's head there!" Ash says as he leads the way. "Not so fast!" Misty says. "Yea! I don't want you to get us lost again!" Verity says pouting. "Hehe sorry." Ash says defending himself. "Wait I have a map!" Sorrel says pulling out a map. "If we follow a road nearby then we should get closer to Rainbow Rock!" Sorrel says. "That's great news!" Brock says. "Alright let's get going!" Ash says as a hand was placed on his shoulder. "Huh?" Ash says. "No let me lead." Cross says. "Fine fine..." Ash says letting him go first.

Ash and his friends are getting closer to Rainbow Rock every step of the way, but what was that Pokemon that is in Ash's shadow? Find out in the next time and so the Journey continues!
