Ash and Misty approached Pewter city after getting out of the forest. "Whew freedom!" "From what?" "Getting out of that forest, I was looking for water pokemon, but I didn't expect bug pokemon to appear out of nowhere." Says Misty Embarrassed from her mistake. "Well there is Pewter City!" Ash says Excited waiting for his Gym battle while running toward the city his first priority was to go to the gym to see if it was open.
Ash reached there and it wasn't Open so he headed to the Pokemon center and saw nurse joy. "Hi nurse joy!" Ash says hyped. "Hello there, oh my are you two dating?" Nurse joy Asks causing Misty to blush while Ash is confused to what dating is. "No? and can you please take care of my Pokemon?" Ash says while sighing. "Okay, please wait for your Pokemon to get healed." "Alright thank you Nurse joy!" While Ash was waiting for his Pokemon to get healed he heard that his Pokemon was healed and told to come pick up his pokemon. while doing so he accidentally bumped into some other person that had brown spiky hair and was taller than him, "Oh hey Sorry I apologize for bumping into you." Ash says hoping he wouldn't get into trouble, "Oh don't worry I am just fine. By the way what is your name mister?" "Oh my name is Ash Ketchum from Pallet Town I am here to get a gym badge." "gym badge huh." "Why is there something wrong?" "Oh no I was just saying." He stares at Ash's Pikachu, "Tell me Ash are you going to use that pikachu to fight the gym leader?" "Uh I will think about it." Ash says looking at his Pikachu on his right shoulder. Ash turned to the man, but he was gone immediately. "Well that was weird." Ash says, "Pika (You said it)" "Hey Ash," Misty says, "are you going to use that Pikachu in your battle?" "Uh maybe my Pikachu hasn't gotten a chance to fight in a battle for a long time." "Oh okay just to let you know that the gym leader here specializes in Rock types." "Whoa Rock types?" "Yep and they are hard to beat." "Well then I guess we're going to have to get stronger right buddy!" "Pika! (Right!)" For the rest of the day they went to train on the battlefield outside of the Pokemon center when suddenly... "Whoa!" the rock they were trying to destroy finally broke from a new move that Pikachu learned... "I think we should use that in our gym battle right buddy?" "Pika (Right let's use it to surprise the gym leader.)"
Tomorrow...
"Okay today is the day where I get my Gym badge!" "Not so loud Ash I am trying to sleep." Misty says. Nurse joy comes in their rooms and says "Wow I never seen two people get along so well like a couple of love birds!!!" Misty heard this then hid her face of embarrassment with the blanket on the bed.
Ash has approached the Gym in Pewter City. Ash shows himself in the battlefield that was going to take place in the matches. "I am Ash ketchum from Pallet Town I came here to challenge the Gym leader!" Ash says while waiting for an answer. "Challenger Ash Ketchum, It is an honor to meet you!" Ash gets a glance at the person and recognizes him. "hey aren't you that guy that disappeared in front of me after I answered your question?" "Yes and the name's Brock nice to meet you challenger."
