Chapter 21 - Fuchsia City Gym Battle

Ash and his friends arrived in Fuchsia City at night and was in the Pokemon Center to rent a room for them. 

"I'd like one room please!" Ash says to Nurse Joy. "One room coming right up!" Nurse Joy says. "Hey Ash! Did you know that the Fuchsia City Gym leader specializes in Poison types?" Brock says to Ash. "Well you see Brock no." Ash says with a nervous smile. "You better come up with something quick Ash! Poison types are not easy to beat!" Misty says. "What about Marshadow?" Brock says. "Nah... I was going to use him as my last resort, but I also didn't want to cause any attention." Ash says. "You make a point Ash, but Misty's right. Poison types are hard to beat!" Brock says. "Don't worry Brock, I'll have to give it my all!" Ash says. "That's Ash for you!" Brock says making a rhetorical question. "Okay! Your room is ready!" Nurse Joy says. "Your just as beautiful as all the Nurse Joys," Brock says. "Wait... All the Nurse Joys?" Ash says. "Oh yea! Ash I forgot to tell you that this Nurse Joy has a lot of sisters that look like her and are also Nurse Joys!" Brock says. "That's right! Take a look over here." Nurse Joy says as she points over to a photo that has a lot of Nurse Joys. "Oh! T-that is a lot Nurse Joys ehehe." Ash says shocked. "Thank you Ash! So do you think I am the prettiest one?" Nurse Joy says as she winks at Ash. Brock sees this and felt a pit in his stomach. Misty also feels a pit in her stomach thinking to herself, "D-does Nurse Joy like Ash?" Misty thought to herself and felt sad at the same time"Well I don't know you all look the same!" Ash says. "We should get some sleep Ash." Brock says with a frown while walking towards the room. "Huh? What's wrong Brock?" Ash says walking with him. "Well I don't get as much love as you do..." Brock says. "Well don't worry Brock! Someday as long as you wait you'll find as much love as you get from your Pokemon!" Ash says. "Yea! You're right Ash!" Brock says with confidence. Misty touched Ash on the shoulder. "Huh? What's wrong Misty?" Ash says. "Well look at you here! Being a ladies man!" Misty says. "Huh?" Ash says. "You should find yourself a lady to like!" Misty says. "I already have!" Ash says. Misty was shocked. "I love my mom!" Ash says. Misty fell down anime style and sighs. "When are you ever gonna get old..." Misty thought to herself. Ash and his friends set their stuff in their room and went to bed.

In Ash's dream...

"Hello!" Ash says as he approaches Sir Aaron. "Why hello there Ash." Sir Aaron says politely. "So what are we gonna practice today?" Ash says. "Let's start off with dodging." Sir Aaron says as he turns Ash's dream to a nightmare. "AH! What's going on?" Ash says. "Sorry Ash, but in order for your dodging to become harder, you need a nightmare in your dream." Sir Aaron says. "Okay I think I'm ready!" Ash says. Ash sees a Charizard, his Charizard. "Roar! (I'm gonna hurt you!)" Charizard says as it prepares a Dragon Claw. "Wha!?" Ash says surprised. "Ash dodge it!" Sir Aaron says in the distance. "Okay!" Ash says as he dodged the Dragon Claw from Charizard. Charizard kept swinging Dragon Claws back and forth to try to hit Ash. Ash dodged them all. "Haff! How long is this gonna keep up!" Ash says tired. "First of all How am I tired?" Ash says. "Oh don't worry Ash! You'll recover from tiredness once you wake up!" Sir Aaron yells in the distance away from Ash. "Alright! Come at me Charizard!" Ash says. "Roar! (As you wish!)" Charizard roars as it charges at Ash with a Steel Wing. "Woah! That was close..." Ash says as the Steel Wing almost hit him. "Hey Sir Aaron can I fight back?" Ash says. "Sure! It's not gonna affect your Pokemon." Sir Aaron says. "Alright!" Ash says firing a Aura Sphere towards Charizard. Charizard dodged it. "Roar! (You dare challenge me?)" Charizard says as it shot a Flamethrower at Ash. Ash reacted by dodging it and saw an extra one coming his way. Ash blocked it with his Aura, then shot multiple Aura Spheres towards Charizard. Charizard dodged a few and got hit by the last three. "Roar! (Ah no! How could this happen!)" Charizard roars as it melted towards the floor meaning that the nightmare is over. "Whew that was close." Ash says. "Indeed it was Ash." Sir Aaron says to him. "Thanks! Huh?" Ash says as he heard the noise coming from his head. "Oh my! I forgot to tell you what you should practice next! You need to practice by telepathically talking to me!" Sir Aaron talks telepathically to Ash. "Oh okay! How's it done?" Ash says. "All you need to do is talk to yourself without making a noise, then talk to me without making any noise." Sir Aaron telepathically says. "Okay!" Ash says as he started talk with his mind. "I can hear myself, I can hear myself..." Ash thought to himself. "Now try using it to me..." Sir Aaron telepathically says to Ash. "C-can you hear me?" Ash telepathically talks to Sir Aaron. "Yes I can..." Sir Aaron telepathically talks to Ash. "Great!" Ash telepathically says. "That's good news! You are becoming a great Aura User Ash... However it is time for you to leave your dream is ending... For now bye Ash we'll meet soon enough!" Sir Aaron says. "Bye!" Ash says as his vision went fuzzy.
