Mark's POV:

I woke up that day with the biggest smile ever.

I looked at the ring and tried so hard not to squeal. I curled up into a ball and pulled the maroon covers over me.

And then I squealed.

I rolled around with a smile until I was completely consumed by the sheets. I was so happy.

Jackson was already up, I could hear the tv from the living room. Sometimes I wonder if that man is going deaf, he has the volume all the way up all the time. In bed too. But that's for another time.

I got out of the bed, but I was still wrapped around in my blanket like a sushi roll.

I creeped up behind Jackson.
"Good morning!" I smiled and wrapped my arms around him, trapping him into the sushi roll as well.

"Good morning sweetheart. Did you sleep well?" He tilted his head and gave me a quick peck.

"Yeah I did"

I hopped over the couch and landed next to Jackson. I didn't let go of him, he needs to be a sushi roll with me.

"You seem to be energetic today" Jackson smiled and put his arm around my waist.

"It's because I'm just so happy to marry you" My smile grew even bigger.

"Aww" he pulled me closer. I nuzzled my face onto his chest. I could hear his heartbeat, which was faster than I expected it to be.

"I love you" I whispered.

Jackson ran his fingers through my hair.

"I love you too" He said.

We stayed there for a second, before I heard my phone blast my ringtone.

I let Jackson be a sushi roll by himself and went to answer the phone. I walked to my bedroom and took my black phone from under the pillow.

I didn't recogise the number but I answered anyway.

"Hello, is this Mark Tuan?"

As soon as I heard the caller's name, all the color disappeared from my face. I broke into cold sweat and it became really hard for me to breathe.

"Hello?"

I gulped. No, no no...

"Evan?"
