I put on my usual work outfit which consisted of a white button up shirt, a black jacket, and a black pencil skirt that reached to my mid-thigh.
Right when I finished putting my hair into a bun there was a knock on my door. I grabbed my notepad and phone then walked to the door and opened it.
"Ready to go?" Carson asked. He was in his usual suit and with his usual serious expression. Did this man ever smile?
I nodded as I finished staring at him "Yeah. I got my notepad and pen. So where is this hotel?" I asked as I walked out and closed my hotel door.
"A few blocks away. It's close to the Eiffel Tower." He said as he walked into the elevator.
I followed him and nodded with a sigh "I've always wanted to go to the Eiffel Tower. But I guess looking at it will do." I said with a small smile.
Carson raised an eyebrow at me before walking out of the elevator, like he was thinking about something.
So I raised an eyebrow back as we got into his car "What?" I asked, narrowing my eyes slightly.
He shrugged as he started to drive down the street. "Just thinking kinda. How about after we look at this hotel we go back to ours, we go to dinner, then go to the Eiffel Tower, and then maybe get a few drinks?" He suggested which made a bright smile come to my face.
I then nodded quickly since I didn't answer him "I would love that." I said and I swear I though a tiny little smile on his face.
We soon arrived at a nice hotel that was right across from the Eiffel Tower. We walked into the hotel and I immediately started to take notes like Carson had asked me to. We went to a few rooms to see what they were like and in the end it was a pretty good hotel.
When we finished looking around Carson scanned over my notes with a focused expression on his face. "So are you gonna buy it?" I asked.
He looked at me and nodded "I think so. You can take a taxi to the hotel and start getting ready while I go meet up with the current owner." He said.
I nodded "Alright." I said before walking out of the hotel and getting into a taxi.
I soon arrived back at our hotel and began to get ready. I still couldn't believe that he was actually going to take me to the Eiffel Tower. And also take me to dinner and for drinks.
I put on a nice light pink dress that went a little above my knees. I curled my hair and then put on some nice heels.
Soon enough there was a knock on my door and as I opened it Carson was there as I expected. He wore a dark blue button up shirt with black pants. For once he wasn't wearing a suit.
"You look beautiful." He said as he looked me up and down "You look good with your hair down. You should have it like that more often." He said before extending his arm for me.
I didn't know what to say at first. For once he wasn't acting cold. He was acting really nice actually. I finally snapped out of my trance and took his arm. "T-thankyou. You look really nice by the way." I said as we entered the elevator.
We got into his car and then pulled up to a really nice restaurant. There were lights everywhere and it looks super expensive. "This place looks amazing. And super expensive." I said and then I heard him chuckle as he opened my door.
"That's because it is. And don't look at the prices." He said as I got out.
I agreed and then we walked in. Apparently, he had reservations because we were seated almost immediately even though it was packed. We sat down at a table that had a nice little candle on it. I looked at the menu but I couldn't help the gasp that came out of my mouth.
"These prices are outrageous. How can you afford this?" I asked in pure shock.
He chuckled again and rolled his eyes "I have more money then I know what to do with. So just pick something without looking at the price." He said.
I sighed and nodded "Ok, ok.." I mumbled before deciding on steak and mashed potatoes.
The waiter came and I ordered my steak while Carson ordered a filet. The waiter looked at me and gave me a wink which made me smile a little. As he walked off I looked over to Carson and saw him glaring at the waiter. Was he...jealous? No way.
The waiter came back with some wine and our food. As he set it down Carson kept on glaring at the man which caused him to scurry away.
"Why do you keep glaring at the poor guy?" I asked which caused him to narrow his eyes at me.
"Obviously he was hitting on you and I didn't like it." He said before starting to eat his food. I sighed and started to do the same.
The bill quickly came and Carson paid it before walking out with me. We were silent as we walked to the Eiffel Tower since it wasn't too far away. I couldn't get the thought of him being jealous out of my head.
I looked up at the Eiffel Tower with a bright smile "It's beautiful.." I mumbled out before he led me to the elevators to go to the top. Once we got to the top we both quickly walked out and to the edge. I smiled as I looked around and then looked out to the whole city. The view was absolutely stunning. I took out my phone and took a few pictures before putting it back into my little purse.
Carson stood next to me with a smile "The city is almost as beautiful as you." He whispered to me as I felt his hand go to the small of my back. I slowly looked at him and saw he had a small smirk on his face. "Let's go get those drinks." He said before guiding me back to the elevator.
I didn't really know what to say. It's not like I was going to try and keep my distance from him. It felt almost impossible to do that.
The elevator doors opened and then we walked down to a bar. He kept his hand on my back as we walked through the crowd, almost like he was telling everyone that she was his.
We walked to a bar and then sat down before he ordered both of us some drinks.
