Elizabeth's PoV

Once we had eaten our pub lunch I paid and left with Aimee, we got into my car and put on our seat belts. I turned slightly in my seat and smiled to Aimee opening the glove compartment pulling out a few CDs.

"Which one?" I asked Aimee, she took the CDs and flicked through them before pulling a old JLS cd from the pile.

"This one please Beth" Aimee smiled and I nodded as I popped the cd into the player. We sat listening to the music as I began driving into town.

"She's the kinda girl boys read about in magazines, glossy magazines. She is the only one I think about leading lady in my dreams; Hey I have waited so long, to gather up my courage she has got me love drunk fumbling my words, Times running out, gotta do it now, She's the one I cannot live without" Aimee sung along to the start of 'one shot' by JLS.

"Your amazing Mimi" I smiled over to the ten year old who giggled. She was more than amazing she was a phenomenal singer, when I was her age I wasn't that good at singing.

"I'm not that good, you must be crazy thinking I'm a good singer" Aimee grumbled and I rolled my eyes.

"Trust me Mimi you are a phenomenal singer. When I was your age I wasn't even that good, trust me" I smiled, I glanced over to the ten year old who smiled weakly

"You sing a song" Aimee tried to persuade me, I glanced over to the girl who grinned happily.

"Alright" I gave in.

"Yay" beamed the ten year old sitting next to me.

"I'm hanging in the air; No where familiar, My head's up in the clouds, My feet don't touch the ground. So I go sky walking; And I can hear you talking, But you're not saying nothing, Feels like you're playing me. And if you really want me; You've got to reassure me, Don't try and take me for a fool"  I sang 'tightrope' by JLS. Aimee grinned enthusiastically as we pulled into the car park outside the adoption agency.

"I'd like to adopt Aimee Carter" I smiled as I approached the reception desk. I held the nervous 10 years old hand in mine, I rubbed my thumb over the back of her hand.

"Okay, fill out these forms over their and I'll get her social worker to pop down" the receptionist hands me a pile of forms and a pen, Aimee and I walk to the tables and I smiled.

"This is real isn't it" Aimee smiled happily as I wrote my name on the front of the forms 'Elizabeth Dingle' I wrote everything down and smiled, I looked at my name Elizabeth Dingle, it only became official this morning and I was beyond happy about that.

"Would you like to keep your last name when your adopted or take mine?" I asked Aimee who shrugged.

"Take yours please" she smiled as I wrote her name on the next form 'Aimee Kimberley Carter' I wrote on the first line ready to move on 'Aimee Kimberley Dingle' I wrote on the second line. I continued filling out the form until it was all down and Aimee's Social worker came downstairs. She took us into a meeting room and finalised the adoption. When we walked out of the agency it was official I had adopted Aimee, we were going to be a family.
