Elizabeth's pov
The next day Aimee was allowed to be discharged, Mum helped me plan a last minute Dingle her together to welcome Aimee to the family, she was officially Aimee Dingle all the papers came through yesterday
"I've spoken to a private investigator, they've got some information on Louie" Mum told me as she drove me back to the hospital to collect Aimee. I looked shocked, I could finally know about my son.
"Today I want to focus on Aimee; she's got to be my main priority for the next day or so but when Aimee's settled in again please organise a meeting" I nodded to Mum
"Anything you want Beth' you know what you want and I understand that you need to focus on Aimee and let her settle in" Mum smiled as she pulled into the car park.
"Let's go and get your daughter" Mum smiled as we got out the car and made our way to the children's ward to pick Aimee up.
"Do you think Debs' is able to set it the party up ready for when we get back with Mimi?" I asked Mum anxiously walking towards the room where Aimee was.
"You don't have to worry. Debs' knows everything you want down and Sarah's their to help. It will be perfect for Aimee welcome home" Mum reassured me and I nodded before we entered the room.
"Are you ready to come home?" I asked the ten year old as I entered the room, her eyes light up when she see's me, she immediately engulfed me in a hug.
"what's that for" I asked when we finally pulled away from each other.
"Can't a girl give her Mum a hug to say thank you." Aimee smiled, I kissed her forehead.
"Right let's get your discharge papers and get you home" I smiled to my daughter as I wrapped my arm around her shoulders and Mum grabbed her bag from the floor.
"I really am glad I don't have to have hospital food for another night. Gosh it was horrible" Aimee chuckeled as we walked to the doctors station, I got the discharge papers and left the ward with Mum and Aimee.
"How about I get you some chocolate before we go" I grinned to the smiling girl walking close by me.
"Please" squeaked Aimee before bursting out laughing.
"Any preferences?" I asked walking into the shops hospital.
"Anything" she whispered. She waited outside with Mum I brought a ripple bar and went back to Mum and Aimee before the three of us made our way to the car. We got into the car and headed back to the village; once we got to the village the three of us made our way into the woolpack which was extremely quite.
"why's it so quite?" Aimee asked curiously as we entered the pub.
"Welcome to the family!" Came a chorus of voices as we entered the pub. All the Dingles were here and their was a sign hung saying 'Welcome to the family Aimee Dingle' it was exactly how I wanted it to be; it was perfect.
"Your Officially Aimee Dingle and to mark this occasion I'd like to give you this bracelet." I pulled a charm bracelet from my bag and got it out the box, I clipped the silver bracelet around Aimee's wrist and brought her into a hug where I kissed her forehead gently.
"I'm officially Aimee Kimberley Dingle" Aimee whispers as we got on with the party. It was perfect and we had our whole lives together.
