Elizabeth's pov
After I was finally discharged from hospital Joe and I told Mum that we were together, she was angry but finally came around to why I was with him and that I was happy. I decided today was going to be a mother and daughter day, I was taking Aimee into town to have a milkshake and then to see a film or we might see a film first which I thought would be best.
"Is Aimee ready for our mother daughter day?" I called up the stairs to my daughter.
"Almost Mum" Aimee shouted back down the stairs as I heard her door slam shut.
"Hurry or we will miss the film" I called as I slipped my shoes onto my feet and washed up our breakfast things. I grabbed my handbag and shoved my phone and purse into my bag waiting for Aimee come down the stairs.
"I'm ready to goooooo" Aimee grinned enthusiastically as she jumped off the stairs.
"Okay Kiddo, let's go them" I smiled putting my arm around my daughters shoulder as we went out to my car, I let Aimee get in before I got in too. The pair of us put our seatbelts on and I drove us to the cinema, my phone pinging as we stopped at the traffic lights.
"It's Joe, would you like me to read it?" Aimee asked picking up my phone.
"Sure" I smiled glancing to the girl from the corner of my eyes. Aimee unlocked my phone and clicked Joe's contact he said.
"What are you and Aimee doing tomorrow around 4:30, I remember you told me Aimee wanted to ride quad bikes and thought tomorrow would be perfect and then I'll treat you both to a Italian meal?" Aimee read out as if she was trying to imitate Joe's voice.
"Could you reply with 'were free; we will see you then. Love you x' please Mimi?" I asked my daughter who I glanced to and she immediately typed away, quickly may I add.
"Done" Aimee grinned only minutes later, she had typed so fast. We had soon arrives at the cinema and we went in, I got us both a drink and Aimee a salted popcorn.
"Thank you Mummy" Aimee grinned happily as we were taken to the cinema room and took our seats. The film was after a hour and half and we both enjoyed it. The pair of us left the cinema and went to a milkshake bar in town.
"I've loved spending today and its been great kiddo" I said softly to my daughter who's face said it all.
"I've loved it too Mum; that you" she grinned as we finally got home after the long mother and daughters Sunday
