Elizabeth's pov
after having the files about Louie i went to see Joe; we hadn't seen each other in a few days; it's just been difficult to find time and I didn't think it was working, don't get me wrong I like joe, he's incredible but it's not working between us all the secrets it's not right.
"It's good to see you again Beth" Joe smiled opening the doors to home farm before I even got to the door; in fact I had just got out of my car.
"Thanks" I mumbled looking down.
"We need to talk, it's important" I said nervously glancing up to see a worried look on his face
"What about?" Joe asked and I had to turn away.
"We need to break up, I can't keep lying to my mum. My priorities have to be straight now. Aimee has to me my main focus and so does my son, if I want any chance of getting my Louie back I need to be a better Mum. I'm sorry" I explained to joe who looked broken as I turned back to face him; I'd never really seen this side of him.
"Beth' please can't we just try" joe asked and I shook my head.
"I'm sorry Joe, I do like you and that won't change but we just won't work I guess that's just how it's meant to be" I sighed, I turned away and got in my car.
Third Person.
Joe stood in shock, he liked Elizabeth; loved her infact but she broke up with him, he had to follow her, they could rewrite the stars, they could make it work. Elizabeth drove to her preforming arts studio and let herself in. She immediately went into her dance studio and plugged her phone into the docking station, she was playing 'rewrite the stars' from the musical the greatest showman; the song what she felt represented her and Joe.
"You think it's easy You think I don't want to run to you But there are mountains And there are doors that we can't walk through I know you're wondering why Because we're able to be Just you and me Within these walls But when we go outside You're gonna wake up and see that it was hopeless after all" Elizabeth sang as She danced around her dance studio not realising Joe was stood in the door way watching her dance, he was mesmerised by her voice; he'd never felt this way before
"No one can rewrite the stars How can you say you'll be mine Everything keeps us apart And I'm not the one you were meant to find It's not up to you It's not up to me When everyone tells us what we can be How can we rewrite the stars? Say that the world can be ours Tonight" Elizabeth sang again doing a forward hand spring into a pirouette. Joe wasn't the best singer but he decided to try and sing along to the song even though he didn't know the words
"All I want is to fly with you All I want is to fall with you So just give me all of you" both Joe and Elizabeth sang; Elizabeth stopped dancing when she heard Joe's voice, she turned to the door
"It feels impossible" Elizabeth sang her voice breaking as tears welled up in her eyes; she wasn't going to cry, not over a guys
"It's not impossible" Joe sang out of tune
"It is impossible" Elizabeth finished singing before she paused the song.
"What are you doing here? Your not meant to be here" Elizabeth folded her arms. Joe frowned, he wanted to be with Elizabeth but it wasn't like they could rewrite the stars now, could they.
