This is the story of seventeen-year-old Prenna James, who immigrated to New York when she was twelve. Except Prenna didn't come from a different country. Prenna and the others who escaped to the present day must follow a strict set of rules: never reveal where they're from, never interfere with history, and never, ever be intimate with anyone outside their community. Feels:
It was unexpectedly satisfying. It was light and a bit addictive. Yet when it was time to close the book the story stays with you. Prenna and Ethan have a pretty amazing chemistry. But I wish this was not the only book with Prenna and Ethan as the main characters (I want a series). I feel that there is more that can be written for them and their world, but none the less it was a great read. The ending is left open ended which I suspect corresponds with what the story represents--> An open and unexpected future (something Prenna could not see before she met Ethan) (**No spoilers I promise**) ((PrennaXoXEthan)) <--They are adorable!
