(Goodreads Description)

Rachel Watts has just moved to Melbourne from the country, but the city is the last place she wants to be.

James Mycroft is her neighbor, an intriguingly troubled seventeen-year-old who's also a genius with a passion for forensics.

Despite her misgivings, Rachel finds herself unable to resist Mycroft when he wants her help investigating a murder. He's even harder to resist when he's up close and personal - and on the hunt for a cold-blooded killer.

When Rachel and Mycroft follows the murderer's trail, they find themselves in the lion's den - literally. A trip to the zoo will never have quite the same meaning again...

Personal Opinion:

This cover has to be my favorite. I don't know if you guys can see it but on the cover written in white says What if Sherlock Holmes was the boy next door? Are you a fan of Sherlock Holmes? This is a great book for you. This is a reread for me, I first read this my Freshman year of High school and loved it. As I've said before the area I grew up in is not really a reading community.

The nearest book store is 45 miles away from my house and that place is super expensive. I'd give anything to live down the road from a bookstore.

I love the mystery that is within this book as well as how easily the characters come together. They aren't fighting for attention or trying too hard to 'act' like Holmes and Watson. The world of Mycroft and Watts really are their own. (Rachel Watts is the best! <3) (There are no words to describe Mycroft. He gets his own category--> Still love him though).

I had lent my book out over the summer and my best friend Jellybeans shared her views of the books, "When are the next books coming out!"

This is the first book in the Every series. The next book is Every Word and the last book out of three is Every Move. All books in the series have been published and released.

I look forward to continue reading the series.
