It was a beautiful morning in Inkwell

the sun was shinning

and everything seemed peacefully quiet

a perfect day according to the isle's oldest resident, who was simply relaxing and enjoying the sun on his rocking chair, resting his eyes ready for a little nap

that was before the chaos erupted

" AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH" a voice screamed

the voice belonged to beppi the clown, who came running after his head which was flying away from his body as it chased after it

"what is going on out here" Elder kettle tiredly asked, opening his eyes and getting out of his comfy chair staring at the clown's curious state

"someones has been pranking all of ink wells residents, and not in a funny way," beppi said as he finally caught his head and put it on top of his neck tying a knot in his neck so it wouldn't wander off again

" What ?" elder kettle said surprised, but then remembered that it was April the 1st

a day with endless possibilities for pranks, and no one loved it more than cuphead and mugman (actually, mugman only went along with cupheads so he wouldn't be victim to his brother's pranking)

and this year the pranks were BIG

and everyone got a taste of it :

the frog brothers and gloopy's boxing gloves were stolen and were replaced with kitten mittens

Hilda berg was dangling from a tree while she was in her plane mode, unable to get out of it

Cagney carnations stem and thorns were painted like a candy cane and his petals were tied up in a big red bow,

Baroness von Bon Bon's head was on top of her candy castle which seemed to be bribed into keeping it there

dijjimi the great's magic carpet was taken and he was forced to walk with his lamp like shoes which seemed very hard and painful

grim matchstick's three heads were sneezing away due to sneezing powder and fire was coming out every three seconds

wally warbles and his son had to evacuate their house as it had been filled to the brink with stink bombs

rumour honey bottoms and her guard's wings were stuck together with her own honey

captain Briney beard's beard was shaved off, and he was too embarrassed to come out

sally stage play's set was replaced, instead of a little red riding house set and the costume was replaced with a "little shop of horrors" set and costume

Werner Werman was trapped in one of his cans and his cigars were taken, replaced with bubble-gum

doctor khal's robot was now speaking French and the scientist was unable to get inside and reprogram him due to the robot's door being locked

Cala maria's tail was painted with bright pink and orange waterproof paint, as well as her fish friends were so overfed that they couldn't move due to their horrible stomach aches

the phantom express tracks were missing and the blind spectre was trapped inside, even though he is a ghost, he still wasn't able to pass through.
