the biggest prank in Inkwell history

the boys along with a sleeping mermaid and helmet wearing rat passed the homes of rumour honey bottoms and captain brineybeard until they had reached the rails of the phantom express

since it was a weekend they weren't working, but the train was their home so they could always be found where the train laid 

but as they came closer 

the noises became 

louder, crashing, banging, yelling and..giggling?

"SPECTER !" shouted the voice of T-bone 

he was waving his colossal skeleton hands in frustration, and he looked very tired

he didn't see the 4 figures coming closer 

coming so close to almost slamming his hands on them

"AHHHHHHHHHHHH" the brothers and Werner screamed

luckily their screams just manage to stop the bone giant just in time

"oh, sorry down ther-" he was about to say before noticing the familiar face of cuphead

he still had a grudge towards him after he stole his hat, he hated his plane skull, he thought he looked bald without it

"oh... it's you, I thought you might have had something to do with this" he stated as something zoomed past his skull but was able to grab it, trapping the thing in his hands

"with what," asked mugman innocently

"with this," said blaze as he pointed to something squirming in T-bones another hand 

"what?" asked cuphead looking at T-bones hand

"uh, T maybe you should loosen your grip," said H (the head of the train)

"but he might start flying everywhere again" argued T

the train crew then started having their discussion leaving the 3 figures in confusion (Cala maria was surprisingly still asleep)

"Hey, where's spectre?" shouted cuphead as he just noticed that the eyeballed hand ghost hadn't made an appearance

the phantom express crew was silent but slowly T-Bone brought his hand towards the cup brothers and opened it (though he still had a tiny grip on the figure in case he tried to escape)

the figure was no other but a tiny blue ghost with tiny yellow eyeballs in his hands instead of his head leaving a large hole in his face, except for a cheeky little tongue poking out

"hi guys," it said

"SPECTER?" shouted cuphead and mugman staring at the tiny ghost

"yep," he said while tilting his head slightly

"I'm guessing you know what happened," said burn while staring at them

"sorta," said mugman sheepishly as they showed them the sleeping Cala maria and pointed at Werner who was pulling his hat down so they couldn't see his face

"hmm, so what are you going to do" questioned H sternly

"well we are taking those who have turned into infants to our house and going to try and help" informed mugman as he approached the baby ghost

"Who are you calling an infant,"said spectre (his voice was very high pitch)

"uh haven't you looked into the mirror," asked cuphead (trying to hold in his laughter)

which resulted in spectre blowing a raspberry in his face 

"so you're going to take him to your house until he's back to normal"blaze joked/asked

"he was always childish, nothing changed except the voice and height"burn said in the same mocking tone as his brother

"HEY" shouted spectre, he tried to float towards them but T-bone still had a strong grip on his ghostly tail

"now now," said H as he tried to calm him down

now wasn't time for his famous tantrums, his eyeballs went all over inkwell isle the last time he had one which then ended in one giant easter hunt (some were still found to this day)

"anyway your gonna need these," said T-bone as he fished out something out of one of the carriages

he pulled out two pairs of blue silky gloves and gave them to cuphead

"what are these for" asked cuphead as he held them up high in wonder

"these will allow you to hold spectre in your arms in case he tries to escape, we will send you some other things later," said H

cuphead gave Werner to mugman as he put the gloves on

once on and T-bone handed spectre to cuphead, which spectre folded his arms in frustration, mugman gave Werner back to cuphead once he was stable enough to carry the two children, which was easy seeing how light they were

spectre waving at the rat in greeting, but the soldier hadn't noticed as his hat covered his entire face 

"ok, well see you later," said mugman as he and his brother was about to leave

but were cornered by the blaze brothers

"if you do anything to him..." said burn menacingly

"we will make your life a living HELL" blaze finished his brother's warning

"U understood" gulped cuphead and mugman as they looked back towards the phantom express

and by the evil looks, T bone and H were giving them, they were not joking around

the phantom express was one big family and if any one of them was hurt, the group would intact their revenge (it was usually spectre they were avenging) but it didn't make their threats any less threatening

the brothers started to walk off again but a little more hurriedly 

"bye spectre" shouted the phantom express as they waved them off happily
