It was the night of the school play. Evan was playing the role of Peter Pan and his new friend, Sabrina, was playing Wendy.

They had practiced extra hard all week, it was the first time they ever had been in a play. Evan was extremely nervous but Sabrina was filled to the brim with excitement.

The two had met at auditions for the play and they quickly became good friends. Sabrina was good for Evan because she was very outgoing and loved to try new things, where as Evan had a difficult time with that.

She loved to draw and Evan loved to paint. They both love the color yellow and, this was the most exciting part for Evan, Sabrina loved plants too!

As hard as it was for Evan to not have Michael anymore, he was very thankful for Sabrina.

It was less than thirty minutes until the show started and the school's auditorium was a madhouse. Everyone was rehearsing, fixing costumes, messing with props, Evan was too stressed out to do anything. He sat in the corner and tried to practice his lines one final time before the show but he couldn't focus.

"Hey Hansen!" Sabrina skipped and sat next to him.

"Hey..."

"What's wrong?"

"A lot...I'm really really really scared."

"What? Why?"

"B-Because what if I mess up my lines, or w-what if someone laughs at me cause my costume, or what if-"

"Evan. You're going to do great. You're the most talented person in here! Everyone's going to love you."

"You really think so?"

"I know so."

"Hmm....but what if I fall into one of the sets-"

"Evan!"

"Sorry."

"Come with me, I have a surprise."

"Okay."

Sabrina went into one of the dressing rooms and grabbed a little container full of glitter. "Here, we're going to use a little bit of this."

"What is it?"

"Glitter!" She scooped a little bit out onto her fingers and lightly applied it to Evan's cheeks. "See? It looks like pixie dust!"

"Hey it kinda does."

"You look adorable!"

"I do?"

"Yeah! You're the perfect Peter."

Evan took a deep breath, it was nearly time to go on. "I can do this."

"Yes you can." Sabrina encouraged.

"I'm not going to fall off stage."

"That's right!"

"I'm going to be the best Peter Pan ever."

"You sure will!"

"Okay Sabrina, let's do this."

"Alrighty!" She squealed.

They took their places on stage and Evan had the time of his life. At the end of the show he got a standing ovation and it made him smile brighter than he had in a long time.

After they took their bows he found Sabrina and hugged her. "I did it!"

"You were amazing, Evan!"
