Nettle stretched out, she had slept heavily. She looked around; her littermates were gone.. huh.
She exited the apprentices den, her eyes narrowing. There seemed to be less people.

"Yes, Moon left! What are we going to do without a medicine cat?!" Slash demanded of Skythe.

"Moon left where..?" Nettle asked quietly.

Seth padded up and pressed against her side comfortingly. "They left to make the clan."

"We didn't even agree on a name! And I was supposed to be deputy.." Nettle's voice trailed off as she realized that her family had abandoned her.

"M-maybe we can go find them?" Nettle suggested nervously. Slash looked at the apprentice pityingly.

"You can always try, but if it gets too hard, come back!" The motherly she-cat said. Nettle nodded, her face full of determination. She looked at Seth, silently asking if he was going to follow/

"I'd follow you anywhere," He stated, answering the unspoken question. Nettle purred and licked his cheek, before padding over to Skythe and Slash.

"Farewell. Take care of your clan..." She turned away, muttering, "Properly."

Skythe curled his lip back, silent as ever. Slash touched Nettle's nose, being a bit kinder than her mate. "Farewell, Nettle. Take care... if you see Moon, tell him I said hello, and inform him that his kits are doing well," The she-cat said softly.

"He left his kits?!" Seth demanded. "I'll never leave my kits!"

Nettle purred and rubbed her head against his cheek. "Sometimes hard decisions have to be made. Now, let's go, we can hunt on the way."

"Not on Vein Alley territory," Skythe growled at once. Slash stepped on his toes, causing him to his at her.

"Go ahead and hunt. We've got less cats to support. Journey well!" She said cheerfully. Nettle nodded and turned to Seth.

"Let's go."
