Nettleclaw looks around her new camp, with Shade. They had left a few weeks later, after making sure no one wanted to come.
Her belly was growing rather large with expecting kits. Shades kits.
Nettle shuddered as she stretched out, feeling weighed down. She looked around the field. The pile of rocks, that would be the apprentices den. The large hollow stone would be the elders' den.. that huge spiky rock would be The Great Stone, and under it, her den.
The large piece of wood would be the nursery, nice and sheltered from the bitter winds. There was a tree with roots splayed out everywhere, the warriors den. The medicine den was those two hollowed out rocks.
"Now, we needs our new names...." Nettleclaw said thoughtfully. "Before I can get my new name, I need to find a spot to get my lives. (A/N. Yes, I'm aware this is not how it works, but for these cats, it does.) But what for you?" She asks Shade.
"Jaggedpelt," He says firmly. Nettleclaw looked at him, purring. "Now. We need to fill this Clan."***
Nettlestar sat in the nursery, purring. A few cats had come in, Darkfur, Icepelt, Flowerpetal. She made Flowerpetal her deputy, the she-cat was loyal and kind.
The leader licked her kits. Ashenkit, the gray pelted cat with her father's amber eyes, and a ginger spot on her forehead. Fallkit, the white tom with orange, red, and brown spots on his fur. There was also Rustkit and Pinekit. Rustkit had ginger fur and green eyes, while Pinekit was white with gray patches and bright green eyes.
Jaggedpelt entered, smiling at his new children. "Love 'em already."
