Nettle looked at Seth. He looked back.
"BoneClan," She repeated faintly. Ridiculous.
Seth scoffed, Morningsun baring her teeth. Before she could launch at the tom, her brother came over.
"Fang!"
"Star," Morningsun corrected.
"..Oh, yeah," Nettle said. She felt stupid. Seth licked her ear.
Fangstar looked at the two, studying Seth with some extra scorn. Nettle knee Fang has never approved of them being friends. She didn't care.
"Nettle! How nice of you to join us!" Fangstar exclaimed. She glared at him.
"You did everything without me! We were the ones who made the plan! Tessa— Morningsun— didn't know anything about it!" Nettle exploded at her brother. Seth put his tail on her shoulder in a comforting gesture, Fangstar scowling.
"We wanted you to come—." Fang started, but was cut off by Seth yelling, "Bullshit!"
Nettle's brother slowly looked at him, before taking a deep breath.
"Progress cannot he slowed down for any one cat," The tom said slowly.
Nettle looked coldly amused. "Remember the time I put off our apprentice ceremony for you??" She demanded in anger.
Seth smirked. She had a god point.
Fang opened and closed his mouth, before snarling, "Alright, whatever. You're known as Nettleclaw now." The tempered tom padded away in anger.
Nettleclaw looked at Seth. "First of all, what about you? He didn't even THINK about giving you a name! Secondly, I'm still an apprentice!"
"Well, he's never liked me, and he's still an apprentice too, but running a clan," Seth responded kindly. Nettleclaw pressed herself against his side, sighing.
"I know, Seth. I figured that out.."
He smiled. "Let's get to know our new home!"
"This'll never be home to me," Nettleclaw muttered. This camp was nothing like what she had imagined. "But sure."
As long as she had Seth, everything would be fine.
