you've been in my life,
to be honest as long as i can remember
we used to stay up "late" on FaceTime or i would sleepover at your house so
we could play video games
or play basketball outside in the summer
the sun would turn both of us scarlet red
but we didn't care because all we wanted was to be with each other sun up
to sun down
we would sit down for hours in the winter
and break up the ice on our driveways
and talk about how annoying little sisters are
and where we wanted to live when we were older
you've been there for me my whole life
and i really never realized
that you were honestly
right there
