Chapter 16 Magnus & Alec

A few hours went by
Alec POV: I slowly start waking up seeing a few bags of blood empty and full I look at my arm I was so confused my vision was a little blurry but I could see Izzy and Jace outside of the room what happened all I remember was fighting a shapeshifter and everything went blank and fade "I don't know what will happen if he doesn't wake up. I don't know if what happens if he does die." Jace said to Izzy "Don't think that he'll be ok." Izzy said to Jace "Hey what's going on? Why is everyone thinking that I'm dead." I said softly. Jace looks over "Um Izzy can you get Clary and Magnus." He asked her "Um sure why?" She asked he turns her around "Oh my god ok." She goes to get Clary and Magnus as Jace comes over to me "How are you feeling?" Jace asked me "I'm ok. The only thing is I don't remember what happened." I said "I'll tell you when you're feeling back to normal." He said I nod my head Magnus and Clary walks in the room "You can have a shower in my bedroom Izzy." He said to her "Thanks Magnus." She said as he snapped his fingers and a pair of clean clothes go into Izzy's hand and Izzy goes off to have a shower "How are you feeling?" He asked me "I feel ok. What's with the blood bags?" I asked "Um I'll tell you later on." He said I looked over Magnus  he was looking down at the ground "What's going with him? He won't even look at me." I whisper to Jace "His just worried that something might happen." Jace whispers back then I saw something fly by then I saw Magnus pull Clary to the side "Listen I gotta go I need to run an errand for a friend I'll be back soon just keep Alec company and talk to him I don't want him to feel sad pumpkin ." Magnus says to Clary and he walks out of his apartment. Did I do something wrong? Why did he leave for? He knows I love him why would he walk out? I hope I didn't do anything wrong to make him upset or something his one of the bravest warlocks I know I'm hoping his okay.
Magnus POV: I had to left because I'm worried that he'll start losing blood again even though my magic is helping to stop the bleeding but I have to get out for a few hours. The fire message was from Catarina she wanted to catch up since Madzie was with her I met them at a local park "Magnus." I hear a voice say I turn around it's madzie I pick her up "Sweet pea. How are you doing." I ask her "I'm doing good Magnus." She replied "Go and play at the playground." Catarina says and off goes madzie I sit down on the bench "Hey how are you doing." Catarina asked me "I'm doing ok. Alec woke up." I said to her "Well that's good isn't it?" She said "I guess. I'm just worried if he starts bleeding again." I said I told Catarina through a fire message when Alec was injured "You're Magnus Bane you can do anything. And plus you're magic is the strongest of them all you're magic is stronger then any other warlocks." She said it putted a smile on my face. It was such a beautiful day "I'm hungry." Madzie says "Well you're lucky I packed a picnic for us to enjoy." Catarina says and she pulls Madzie's lunchbox and hands it over them Madzie goes back over to the playground she hands me a bottle of water "Thanks." I said then me and Catarina catch up talking. It was honestly nice to talk to Catarina because she knows me better than anyone else I'm just hoping Alec is doing okay I hope his not mad at me for leaving I'll tell him everything he wants to know when his back 100% if I tell him now he might go into shock so I don't want to do that and I know Jace will tell his side of the story as well I'll be going back in a few hours I just needed to catch up with Catarina but also enjoying this fresh air this is so nice and peaceful one of the best days yet this is definitely the life I'm so happy I got out of my apartment I can't always be in there.
Alec POV: It started raining outside and Izzy just finished having a shower "Where is the washer?" Izzy asked me "It's upstairs the first door on the right." I said as Izzy grabs Clary's hand and they both walk upstairs "So how are you feeling?" Jace asked me I honestly don't know what to say I'm still in a bit of pain I'm still a bit tired "I'm feeling ok." I replied I didn't wanted to tell Jace or Izzy or Magnus how I'm feeling because then they're try everything to make me feel ok and better. "Hey Jace um do you mind if I get some sleep?" I ask him "Yeah sure." He said he went over and close all the curtains and switched off all the lights it was pitched black "I love you Alec." Jace says "I love you too Jace." I said I start falling asleep as Jace leaves the room I can't move around as much because of the pain as I'm sleeping I start hearing voices outside of the room and I know what you're thinking and I'm a light and deep sleeper but when I'm in a deep sleep I can hear bits of pieces of talk not a lot. I wish I could just get comfortable but I'm in so much pain I could hear a bit of the rain but I was so tired I'm hoping Magnus is ok I'm honestly thinking about him jeez I even feel so tired in my sleep as well I really want wish I could lay on my side but I can't I'm laying on my back it's a little comfortable but the pain is hurting so much I can hear Izzy and Jace talking "Do you think his okay?" Jace asks Izzy "Yeah he is. But you can see that his still hurting a bit it's gonna take a while for him to heal." Izzy replies as I try to sleep it's just hard to fall asleep then I start falling asleep I hear the rain pouring down but I also hear the lighting and thunder as well I'm hoping Magnus is safe and ok I hope he'll talk to me when he comes back home I know his worried about me but I hope he tells me what happened to me I only can remember pieces of it not a lot and I know the healing rune is supposed to help it's helping a little not a lot but it's going to take a while ugh I better get a few hours of sleep in I don't want to feel so weak and tired through this day I don't want it to go terrible I'm just happy that I have my friends, family and Magnus here with me I don't know what I would do without them they made me so happy, loved and feel absolutely special.
Magnus POV: It started raining in the park it was a nice day turned into a rain day "Madzie do you want to go someplace warm?" Catarina asked her "Yes!!" She said with excitement Madzie came over and she go out her umbrella and putted her lunchbox in the picnic basket we go to a cafe near my apartment Madzie and I goes and sits down while Catarina looks at the menu "What would you like to eat and drink Madzie?" Catarina asks her "Can I get a lukewarm hot chocolate with marshmallows, whipped cream and chocolate shavings and for something to eat grilled cheese and one chocolate chip cookie." Madzie replies "Coming right up." Catarina says as she goes up "Hello how can I help you today?" The cashier says "Can I get a strong black coffee with milk and two sugars, also a hot chocolate lukewarm with marshmallows, whipped cream and chocolate shavings and two chocolate chip cookies." She says "Would you like it here or take away?" The cashier asked "I'll have it here." Catarina replies "Ok then the total is $16.25 cents." Catarina hands over the money then she goes over and waits for the drinks and food "Hey Magnus can we come over today and spend some time with you?" Madzie asks me "Maybe you should ask Catarina." I reply back then Catarina comes over but she has a few colouring books and some crayons and pencils she hands Madzie her drink and cookie "Thank you." She says as Catarina smiles "Are you sure you don't want anything Magnus it's my treat." She says "It's ok I'll get something soon I have to talk to everyone and see if they want anything." I said as Madzie was colouring in while she was having her hot chocolate well I better check in with everyone seeing what they are up to I hope they not breaking the place it would take a while to fix stuff if they break it but I trust them I'm hoping Alec isn't mad at me for leaving the apartment his got to understand I'm scared and worried that I'll lose him because his honesty the person I truly love and really care about. I can't imagine my life without him he has turned and made me a better man in life I go on my phone and I start texting Jace first I send him a text just waiting for him to reply back to it I'm still figuring out why it was sunny at first now raining then I hear a beep I check my phone it's a text from Jace.
*text between Jace and Magnus*
Magnus: Hey Jace I'm still out but I'm wondering if you, Izzy, Clary and Alec wants anything to eat it's my treat.
Jace: I'll have a coffee double espresso with two sugars and some milk and a grilled cheese with tomato, ham and blue cheese, Izzy said she'll have a green tea latte with one chocolate chip cookie and a brownie, Clary said she'll have a cappuccino extra strong and a cookie with white chocolate chips and raspberries and just get Alec some water.
Magnus: Ok. So how is he?
Jace: His ok his taking a nap for now but Izzy thinks that he is still in pain I tried using the healing rune but it's working a little should I be worried?
Magnus: Well that's good his sleeping for now but no you shouldn't be worried he'll be ok it's just making him a bit tired but after what he went through. It's making him weak so his going to be some pain for a while but then he'll be back to his strong self again.
Jace: Ok well I'll see you in a bit then.
*read and texted finished*
"Can we stop by Magnus for a few hours?" Madzie asked Catarina while I put down my phone she looks at me "Ok sure." Catarina says "Yay I'll be right back." Madzie says as she goes to the bathroom "She doesn't know Alec got injured." Catarina says to me "Don't worry his asleep for now and plus his in the guest bedroom upstairs. Also I'll have to get everyone's food and drinks but while I'm getting all that stuff can you go to the cupcake store and get a few cupcakes some for Alec but also some for Clary." I said and asked "Yeah sure I have no problem." Catarina says. Then Madzie comes out of the bathroom and she finishes her hot chocolate and cookie she grabs the book, crayons and pencils "Come on sweetheart we have to go somewhere and Magnus will meet us there." Catarina says "Can you wait outside for a sec I just want to talk to Magnus." Madzie asked and Catarina waited she gave me a hug I gave her a hug back I pulled out my wallet and I gave her $10 "Here spend $5 on something and save the other $5 and I'll keep giving you pocket money." I say and she goes outside so Madzie and Catarina goes to the cupcake store while I go and order "Hello there what can I help you with today?" The cashier says "Hi um can I get a grilled cheese with tomato, ham and blue cheese with a coffee double espresso, green tea latte with one chocolate chip cookie and a brownie, cappuccino extra strong and 20 cookies with white chocolate chips with raspberries. That's it and I'll have it take away." I said "Damn that's a lot are you having a party?" The cashier asked me "No it's for a friend she got dumped by her ex boyfriend." I said it was a lie "Oh that's sad well I'll throw in 10 more cookies for free and you're total is $25.30 cents" I give her the money "Ok just wait over there and it should be done soon." The cashier says to me "Ok." I said I go over near the door the cafe had like milk packets, sugar packets, sticks, napkins and straws then the cashier came back and handed me the bag of the grilled cheese, cookies, brownies and drinks "I putted another grilled cheese, 2 more pieces of brownie and a bottle of water for free just in case you're friend feels like coffee is enough. I hope she feels better soon." The cashier said "Thanks." I said as the cashier goes back to work I forgot to get Alec some water but I'm happy that she gave me some water for free I go over to the little counter and I grab a few sugar packets, a few sticks, a few straws, a few napkins and some milk packets I leave the cafe and I see Madzie and Catarina waiting for me "Jeez you got enough stuff?" Catarina asked me as I noticed Madzie had a small cupcake box "Yeah the women gave me some extra stuff. I lied and said Clary broke up." I said to Catarina as her back was turned I quickly reach out some notes of one dollar notes I hand five one dollar notes to Madzie she had a smile on her face we walked to my apartment we finally enter into my apartment building we took the lift up since I live up on the top floor it's so nice then we finally got to the top level I lived right around the end I grab my keys and I unlock the door I enter in so did Madzie and Catarina I go into the living room and I place the bag down "Hello anyone home?" I ask "We're up here." I hear Clary's voice "I'll be right back make yourself comfortable." I said as I snap my fingers and the fireplace turns on I grab the water out the bag and I go upstairs I see everyone in the guest room "The food is downstairs and the cashier gave me a bit extra food." I said and they all go downstairs to have the food and drinks I go and I grab a chair I sit by the bed next to Alec "I'm sorry I walked out of the apartment I didn't know what was going to happen next I'm worried that I'll lose you and you're my everything Alexander you have made me into a better man I was thinking soon as you feel back to normal we could go to our getaway house in Rome I know you miss that place I know you can hear me I love you Alexander." I reach out for his hand and I hold it I start tearing up I had no makeup on so in one way that's good I honestly don't know what I would do without Alexander it's so hard these days I wish I could take him somewhere quiet.
Alec POV: "I love you too Magnus." I whisper I slowly start waking up and I see his face his been crying he looks over at me "Hey how are you feeling?" He asked me I raise my hand and I shake it back and forward it meant I was feeling 50/50 like ok and bad I saw Jace enter the room he handed Magnus something and then Jace leaves "What's these?" I asked Magnus "Some pain medication it helps with the pain." Then he hands me them and a bottle of water I take them then I noticed a different a bottle "And those ones?" I asked "These ones helps you to sleep when you need to." He replies I smile at him as I reach over and dry his tears away from his face "I understand why you left but you and Jace definitely need to tell me what happened I only remember a little bit." I tell him "Don't worry when you're back to normal we'll tell you." He said then he lead over and kisses my cheek then I hear Jace coming upstairs again "I'll be right back" I hear him says then he comes upstairs as I take another sip of water my mouth was dry. Jace comes in the room and Magnus stands up "I'll be downstairs." He says as he kisses my forehead and Jace sat on the seat "How are you feeling buddy?" He asked me "I'm ok just still feeling a little weak." I said then Jace hands me a grilled cheese half "Here. You need to eat and you're iron is low." He said as I start eating I took small bites "So how's the painkillers?" He asked me "It's ok it's slowly making me feel a little better it's going to some time healing." I said as I keep taking some more small bites I wish Magnus could stay up here with me I know he will soon I miss him and I love him so much "Hey quick question do you think Magnus and I will stay together forever?" I whisper to Jace "The way you two are together you both have a good sense of humour, you make each other laugh, you both make each other smile, you both say I love you so many times together and you both make each other very happy. Why do you ask?" He says and asked me "I'm just wondering that's all." I said I finished the sandwich half and then Jace hands me the sleeping pills and the water "Here you might need to get some more sleep you still look tired." He says I take them and he leaves the room "I'll check up on you later on. Get some sleep I love you Alec." He says "I love you Jace." Then I slowly start going off to sleep
