After Lilith left Asmodeus' place she went back to her place she kept her evil smirk on her face she is hoping that Asmodeus would keep his word to the promise because least Magnus would pay for what he did to her son it was even more painful that hearing him call out to her in the beach in New York but seeing her son being torture in front of her then seeing him die right in front of her Asmodeus was pacing back and forward thinking away where he can leave Edom to go up to New York but he knew he could easily find a way out he just has to wait for the right time to do it he laughed so loud everyone in Edom could hear it back at Magnus' apartment everyone helped clear up the blood from Jonathan's body and getting rid of his body by burning at the back Clary sent some love off to her brother Alec was sitting on the edge of the couch while Magnus looked up at him "Are you ok Alexander?" Magnus asked his fiancé he placed his hand onto Alec's shoulder "Yeah I'm just glad we got that out of the way it was so hard in the there I didn't know if I was going to make it or not but thank you for trying." Alec replied back as Alec rubbed Magnus' hand on his shoulder everyone was done finishing burning Jonathan's body they entered back into Magnus' apartment "Well I'm glad that was over and done with and plus least we wouldn't have to put up with Lilith god that evil bitch gives me a headache." Jace said as he rubs the sides of his head Magnus looks at Alec and Alec looks back they both think it'll be a great idea "Why don't you guys stay here for tonight? You guys can crash on the sofa." Magnus said to them both Magnus and Alec didn't mind if they wanted to "Are you sure? Because we don't want to be a bother to you or Alec." Clary said with some shocked in her voice "I'm sure biscuit don't worry I'll get some blankets and some pillows." Magnus said and he walked off to get them Jace and Alec went outside to talk Jace closed the door while the girls stayed inside so Jace and Alec can have a talk and have a serious conversation "You alright Alec?" Jace asked his parabatai "I honestly don't know Jace I felt weak in that place I didn't know what the hell was even going on. It was playing tricks with me it showed me Max when he was injured by Jonathan it should me Magnus feeling powerless without his magic it showed me so many things Jace it was hard to believe what was real and what wasn't but I could hear everyone but the strange thing about all of it is I couldn't get out I fought to get out but every time I tried to it didn't let me I can still feel how weak it made me because of being in that spot I thought I was going to die there it felt like all of my feelings at that time slowed down and I feel like one more second I could feel a hole punch straight through my chest I was screaming so loud that nobody could hear me but that demon was laughing in my face every second it could. I wanted to wake up Jace I was fighting to wake up but that demon wouldn't let me." Alec said to Jace "I know Alec I could feel every single pain you were going through and plus we wasn't sure that you wasn't going to make it either but Magnus he tried everything he could and plus you should be really thanking Magnus he was the only who came up with that brilliant plan to make Lilith watch while we tortured Jonthan." Jace replied back and Alec just walked to see the beautiful night lights from New York he just sighed he didn't know what was going to happen next he honestly didn't know if there was going to be a way to break free out of that terrible place Jace felt like he let Alec down Magnus saw the boys were outside he placed the blankets and pillows on the couch he opened the door and walked outside he shut the door behind him Jace lift his head up Magnus placed a hand on his shoulder letting him know he'll take it from here he'll talk to Alec Jace just gave Magnus a simple nod and walked back into the living room while Magnus walked over to his fiancé Magnus placed his hand gently onto Alec's shoulder Alec flinched a little "It's ok it's just me." Magnus told Alec to sure him that everything was going to be alright that nothing was going to happen to him but Alec broke down into tears Magnus wrapped his arms around Alec while Alec's head was in Magnus' chest Magnus knew how broke Alec must seem he didn't wanted to let go of Alec but Magnus was going to make sure nothing bad was going to happen to him ever. Back down at Edom Asmodeus was figuring out how he would surface in New York he probably would have to use someone to draw his way out of Edom so he can reach that surface and follow Lilith's order even though Asmodeus doesn't take orders but he does agree that it's an great idea because Asmodeus never saw his son being happy with any of his relationships he has had Asmodeus rather see his son rule by his side since Magnus came to him Asmodeus just took Magnus under his wing and taught him everything he knew and wouldn't you know it Magnus is one of the strongest people but he needs to increase his powers so he would need to reach his full potentially would to bring him back down to Edom where his lover Alexander Gideon Lightwood would not find him Asmodeus is an selfish person but he always had the most wicked plans up his sleeves when he needed to be used Asmodeus would make sure that the most value memories of Alec inside of Magnus' head would be crushed making Magnus not remember would his true lover is and plus Asmodeus would keep his son down in Edom for the rest of his long living life Asmodeus will make sure nothing will come in his way and he is hoping no one will stop him from taking his son away from New York to the fire pits of Hell again where Asmodeus took him and showed him everything learning how to control his magic, showing off his beautiful cat eyes, learning every spell in a book, turning objects into things that nobody would have seen and a bunch of other things but Magnus did take away Clary's memories and feed them to an memory demon it took Magnus a while to learn that before leaving his father knowing it's one of the many worse memories Magnus has in his life Magnus barely trusted Asmodeus because Asmodeus does what he thinks is the best option without knowing that it is an terrible plan Lilith was pacing back and forward she knows Asmodeus would take his time with this but Lilith didn't wanted a single day wasted she wanted to rip Magnus Bane to pieces with her bare claws because she is the mother of all demons but Magnus Bane got involve when her owl was taking away he made sure her son was killed right in front of her Lilith wanted anything more than the sweet taste of revenge she was the most evil person well she isn't really a person it's just an human flesh hiding her actual demon self but she was wicked to the bone she didn't care about anything unless if it was apart of her family that's when she'll care but she always takes what she wants whenever she wants she doesn't care how she gets it she just is an cold hearted demon. Magnus and Alec headed back inside after having a serious talk with each other they weren't fighting it just was about Alec talking about everything that he could remember from being in that wicked place that Lilith set up with that demon it was the most horrible experience he has been through yet they locked the door to outside Jace and Clary was one of the couch while Isabelle was on the other one but for Alec he didn't really have much strength he was still weak on his feet Alec should even be up right now he should be focused on relaxing and healing properly Jace knows that he'll probably have to take over Alec's place for a while just until he is capable to work again without anything on his mind Alec went over to the fridge both Magnus and Jace was worried for Alec since he woken up he just feels like he let everyone down not knowing what could happen next in his life he wanted to keep everyone by his side but he just feels like he has a chip on his shoulder having a feeling that something bad could probably happen next but what happens next who knows but Alec was hoping it wasn't going to be serious because he couldn't lose a lot of people who he loves and slowly getting around to start caring about "You better keep a good eye on him tonight." Jace said to Magnus and Magnus nodded his head he knows he'll have to stay awake to make sure Alec would be fine throughout these nights to come but Magnus will make sure Alec will be ok and not fall into depression while being like this because Magnus would be scared if Alec ends up like that Magnus knows that Alec shouldn't feel guilty that he went through this and couldn't do anything to stop it but the most important thing is he did fight it as much he could but Alec didn't feel like that wasn't enough he should have founded away to escape but he couldn't it was like every time he tried to get some area trying to pull his self conscious out of his body and try to wake up he got dragged back down he was screaming out for help but he knew Jace was there and Magnus was there but they did knew Alec was calling out for help but Lilith made sure it was impossible to get out Alec because the demon only obey to Lilith's orders and those orders were terrible and awful Alec grabbed a bottle of water from the fridge and he grabbed 2 yogurts it was blueberry favoured he placed it on the counter he closed the fridge and he grabbed a spoon from the drawer he grabbed everything and he walked into Magnus' bedroom and he sat on the bed opening the yogurts he started eating he was just staring out the opening it felt like he would snapped but it was the opposite he was quiet not speaking much just keeping quiet to himself Jace could tell Alec was really hurting but he was sad even though Alec wasn't crying at the moment his soul was crying inside but Alec made sure he kinda of cared a big grown man but it hurt inside of him he wanted to break down into tears but he felt like he didn't have much tears to show but he would cry later tonight in the bathroom he hates that he has let people in but he wasn't always the strongest shadowhunter everybody looks up to him because he has his own problems too he just rather talk to Magus or Jace or even Isabelle about his problems because least there would be a shoulder for him to cry on but he just doesn't know what to do for right now he just feels like he didn't do much effort to get out from living in a place where it felt like hell Magnus was just staying near the door to his bedroom when Jace tapped Magnus' shoulder it did give Magnus a bit of a fright but he quickly recovered from it "Sorry Magnus I didn't meant to give you a fright is he ok? I've never seen him like this like so shocked it's like he is there but at the same time he isn't it's like his soul is there but himself is left his body full of shock he won't stay like this will he?" Jace asked Magnus but honestly Magnus doesn't know what could happen to Alec he could fall into depression or he could just fall into a pit without speaking to anyone just keeping quiet keeping to himself or he could just feel helpless and cry in a bathroom all day not escaping just staying there without talking to anyone "I honestly don't know Jace but he would need something to take all of this off his mind because he could easily fall into a pit not speak to anyone just staring at wall wondering what the hell is going on but if he goes to sleep he'll probably have non stop flashbacks to what just happened to him maybe we could try to take him to the silent brothers they could maybe snap him out of all of this but who knows what the silent brothers might do to him." Magnus explained "But can't you send a fire message to you're friend about Alec's case? Clary told me what you guys did about what you did to figure out what attacked her and you guys founded out it was Lilith." Jace said with a great point Magnus could try to reach out to brother Zachariah but who knows what he could say but maybe that's all Magnus could try "If he isn't better before tomorrow morning I'll send a fire message to brother Zachariah see what they could do for Alec's case I'm just hoping they don't make him go insane because then he'll really fall down a deep pit and not come out of hiding," Magnus said and Jace went near the door he was worried about Alec he was worried about his own parabatai because Alec has always been the strongest and he is the bravest but Jace was hoping that Alec will pull through this trying to not feel guilty about it that he'll realise that whatever he could have tried to get out of that demon's reach but Lilith had orders for that demon she didn't even care if Jace were to get hurt during the beating Alec took all that was flashing between Alec's eyes when it was happening is every type of fear, every type of pain he went through, every worse memory that happened in his life and so many other things but did Alec knew that no matter how hard he tried he wouldn't let his soul down that he wouldn't let friends and family down he did everything that could be possible to be the bravest and strongest shadowhunter out there he trained for days and days without stopping he didn't barely sleep when he did does training he wanted to make sure he made everyone proud hearing about him in New York and Idris he didn't care if someone was talking trash about him because either way they would have ended up with a broken nose the many times Alec would get into trouble for breaking someone's nose in training Alec's parents wasn't upset they were proud that he was doing everything right when people thought he was doing everything wrong in training Alec learnt everything from every single rune learning what they did and how to use them properly, learning each move of training until he got it perfect, learning how to trained with swords and his bow and arrows he was never cocky he stuck with a serious attitude making sure he kept with his weekly training sessions without missing any and he helped out his father with going through night patrols staying out keeping watch of the institutes through Idris and New York but he has been living right by his family name the Lightwoods there always have been smack through the Lightwood name that's probably why Alec always lost his anger with people not believing in the Lightwoods could be the most powerful people and of course Alec brought his A game every time he didn't care if someone gotten hurt because of it but Alec did everything his parents told him to do but Alec looks back at it and he feels really awful for doing the things he did to those kids he didn't meant to but he was being pushed he didn't wanted to take that it's like he didn't have a choice to make because his parents would do anything but the thing is he didn't wanted to have his family involved with his problems when his parents had their own problems of their own because Alec heard them arguments late at nights he tried to go to sleep most nights but he couldn't because of the yelling between Robert and Maryse it was over maybe the stupidest things or it was because of Robert slowly falling out of love with Maryse and plus Alec didn't wanted to tell his parents he was gay when he started falling in love with Jace while they were about to became parabatai only Isabelle saw Alec's truest feelings she saw everything he had been through with when Alec was second guessing to becoming Jace's parabatai and understanding that he was nervous to come out to his parents about him that he was gay but it did take them a while for them to accept him being gay and just being himself he made sure they realised that he was normal he was just openly gay and it did take Alec a while to open everything up to Magnus but Alec knew he shouldn't push Magnus away whenever if it is the toughest of days or the roughest of days Magnus would be there for him through any issues that could be possible to fix but it would sure them both that nothing could be impossible it just wasn't a difficult matter for both of them they would always try working out their arguments even though at times it would take a while to fully be better and looking on the bright side of everything Alec drank some of his water he already finished having the yogurt Magnus walked in the room he grabbed the spoon and empty yogurt bowls Magnus placed a kiss on Alec's head "I'll be here for you just call out if you need me I'll be in bed soon." Magnus said to Alec there was a faint smile in Alec's lips but Alec just laid in the bed with the covers over his body Magnus switched off the light and closed in his bedroom door a bit leaving a bit opened so he could hear Alec call out for him Magnus sighed out loud he was so worried about Alec but he is hoping Alec would be fine or at least be ok but Magnus would be worried if Alec does end up going to the silent brothers for helping so he wouldn't be in a hole if he isn't fixed since how he has been feeling Magnus wouldn't want Alec to be depressed since Magnus saw how Alec was like when that spell Iris pulled on Jace, Clary and Alec seeing him in that state of mind could easily bring that back again and that wasn't a risk Magnus would take he didn't wanted lose the only thing that could make him happy for this time around since Alec did have a point but Alec doesn't released that it isn't Magnus' idea to move onto the next person to date it gets harder and harder every time because every person Magnus Bane has been with as hurt the most because every memory Magnus and that person shared he looks back and thinks 'Yeah I had a great time with them but my heart will be broken again when they are dead.' It is never any easy situation losing the one you loved over and over again but for Magnus he made lived through centuries but the heartbreaks he has lost over those times were the worse of them all but Magnus is here with Alec right now nothing could change that and Magnus wouldn't mind turning Alec immortal but the only thing is what would people think? And would Alec be ok with it because for Raphael it was hard he was always raised as a religious Catholic he always believed in God nothing was going to get in a way of that he was particularly close to his youngest sister Rosa but eventually him and his family from living in Mexico City to the States for a different change and a chance in the States Raphael has always been there for his sister nothing wouldn't separate them apart but Raphael wasn't very close to his family when they first went to the States Raphael and his sister would miss Mexico City but she became incredibly homesick and no one but her older brother Raphael noticed to try to ease her sadness, Raphael would sometimes accompany Rosa to their roof to look at the stars and he would sure her that it were like the ones back home in Mexico because of Mexico but they would slowly get used to the States Raphael promised his sister that he would take his sister back to Mexico one day after a few months turned into a few years Raphael disappeared one night Raphael first turned into a vampire he became addicted to feeding from mundanes he never stopped until he met Magnus who helped him regain his faith, in his religion and in himself so Raphael started getting bags of blood instead of hurting and draining blood from mundanes it was easier for Raphael be this way but he watched Rosa over the years seeing her grow up without him being there helping her at one point Raphael who had become a vampire and stopped aging, had to leave them Rosa had been devastated especially since she had no memory of Raphael saying goodbye to her it left her so heartbroken not knowing where he went he didn't even get to say goodbye to her when she became elderly and developed dementia, often forgetting people's names, even her family's, Rosa was moved into a Catholic retirement home in Harlem despite having forgotten him, Rosa received constant visits from Raphael he would even drop off meals for her every Sunday Raphael saw every way Rosa became to age how their parents took her way he saw his parents age and die then looked more after Rosa seeing her age and grow old it was heartbreaking to him because he didn't know his sister that he grew up with in Mexico City would developed dementia it could have been by him leaving her behind he never wanted to that to his own flesh and blood that he swore to protect for the rest of his life he wasn't expecting to became a vampire but he knew if he were to bite his sister and accidentally kill her because he couldn't control his own thirst he didn't wanted to see his sister like that but when Raphael first visited her she didn't even knew who he was he felt even more crushed because he did wanted to be there for her trying to make sure she'll always have him there but he never was she always thought he didn't care that was the reason he left that night without saying a goodbye he always had to went at night to visit her even though she didn't know it was him she always had the memories of Raphael every time she saw him she kept reminding him that he reminds her of Raphael she always wanted to know what he was up to but if she never had dementia she would be so surprised if she knew it was him Magnus always has helped out every downworlder possible along with some shadowhunters but Magnus helped changed everyone and got them back onto track with their lives before they either became a werewolf or vampire it was so confusing because they didn't know what the hell was going on and the changes they were going through either way they were hurting inside knowing that their normal lives was flipped upside down without any solution to fix it or make it great again they had to live with the consequences that tagged along with it Magnus made sure they would be fine that it would take many years of practice to get it some what of normal again they always thank Magnus for helping them to get back onto the roots of recovery even though the struggles are real but after time every werewolf and every vampire would try get back to their family but it broke most vampires seeing their families have died it was really heartbreaking they would knock on Magnus' apartment door Magnus would open his door every time letting the vampires come in crying onto his shoulder telling them that it does get harder but it does get a little easier but he would always be there for them Magnus took a deep breath in and out Clary saw how Magnus was getting a bit worried and sad because she could see how his legs would shaking and bouncing up and down Clary went over to Magnus she sat down next to him "He'll be ok Magnus you just got to believe in him I'm pretty sure the silent brothers wouldn't do too many bad things if you tell brother Zachariah the state Alec is in they might take it easy on him. You just believe that he'll pull through it." Clary said to Magnus and Magnus grabbed Clary's hand he squeezed it "Thanks biscuit." Magnus replied to Clary they just sat there while Alec was laying on his side with his eyes wide open just staring at the wall he didn't know how to feel right now he just felt a dark hole is sucking out his feelings leaving him powerless and less energy Alec feels like screaming so loud but he can't because his throat almost feels like too dry to speak Alec was afraid to be alone again because he was hoping nothing terrible was going to happen. A few hours went by Alec finally went to sleep Magnus went into his bedroom Magnus saw Alec was on his side Magnus didn't really wanted to take Alec to the silent brothers but Magnus didn't know if Alec would do something he could possibly not forgive himself for it Magnus and Clary did went outside for a bit to talk to each other Clary hasn't seen Magnus in such a fragile state like this before but she was worried for Magnus and Alec she hoping everything will work out just fine and Alec would be better and be more focused again Magnus took off his shoes he didn't wanted to change his clothes he laid in the bed he was really worried about Alec but he is hoping he'll pull through it and feel better Magnus finally went to sleep he didn't wanted to cuddle with Alec because Alec probably would jump out of his skin and scream so Magnus is not doing that until Alec was ready to feel Magnus' arms around him once morning came along Alec woke up before everyone he checked the time it was 7AM he got up from the bed he didn't really feel like talking today but he had to do something for Magnus so Alec went to the bathroom he turned on the sink he splashed some water on his face he looked into the mirror he saw his reflection his face was wet from the water Alec had to use the toilet once he was done he gotten dressed he grabbed his wallet and his keys he placed a kiss on Magnus' cheek Magnus just kept sleeping but he had a smile on his face Alec left the bedroom he closed the door once he left it he saw Clary and Jace on one of the couches sleeping peaceful and Izzy was sleeping on the other one she was tossing and turning a bit Alec put on his shoes he left the apartment building it was a mixture of a bit warm with some cold wind Alec made his way down the streets of New York soaking in the fresh air he'll have left he went into a ring shop he spoke to someone about something the same as his ring the person gave him the ring it almost looked the same he paid for it he thank the person he left the store he went down to the nearest flower shop near Magnus' apartment he walked in he got a bunch of roses their had the brightens of colours in them Alec paid for them and left the shop he made his way back to Magnus' apartment once he unlocked the door he didn't take off his shoes he just placed his keys and wallet down he went into Magnus' office he grabbed a piece of paper and a pen he took it into the kitchen he started writing letters for Magnus, Jace and Izzy he cried a bit on Magnus' letter when he written it he placed the bag with the ring on the kitchen's counter top he grabbed a vase he placed the roses in the vase he went into the bedroom he saw Magnus was still asleep he went over to his side he kneeled down and he placed a kiss onto Magnus' forehead "Please don't forget me." Alec whispered he gotten up he looked at Magnus one last time he left the bedroom he saw what was his family which he'll have to leave behind he didn't wanted them to hear him crying he left the apartment without his phone, without his wallet and without his keys he walked back down the streets of New York until he reached the silent brothers area he took a deep breath and the doors opened he walked in and made his way down he met one of the silent brothers he explained everything they made sure if he was sure he wanted to go through with it but he nodded his head he was taking to a cell he got placed in he didn't know when he'll probably get out but he would least know he would try to get better again. It was 1PM Magnus woke up he yawned he gotten up and noticed Alec wasn't in bed Magnus became worried he searched every area of his apartment until he gotten stopped by seeing roses in a vase something in a bag and a note he walked over and he read the note 'Magnus I'm so sorry I know by the time you wake up I won't be there I thought I would get myself the help I need so I don't know when I'll be back home again but don't forget me please I love you so much look in the bag I think you'll love it. I'll see you again.' Magnus' eyes were filling up with tears he pulled the box out of the bag he opened it and he saw the ring he just broke into tears Clary woke up she saw Magnus on the floor crying holding onto a box she woke up Jace and Izzy they both woke up and see what Magnus was doing Clary rushed over to Magnus she quickly wrapped her arms around him he just couldn't stop crying Izzy and Jace saw their names for a letter they read it and understood what just happened Jace told Clary what just happened that Alec checked himself into the silent brothers without telling any of them Magnus couldn't stop crying. Back down at Edom the word gotten down there about what happened with Alec and Lilith was over the moon she quickly rushed to Asmodeus' place she told him the news "Well now we can get to work I'll get rid of Magnus' memories of him and that Alec boy and I'll bring him down here so he could rule by my side." Asmodeus said with the most wicked smirk he share with a laughter Lilith left Asmodeus' place and she went back to her she was excited she couldn't wait she hopes that Magnus will get everything like how he took everything away from her Jonathan didn't do anything wrong but Magnus didn't think it like that Jonathan was a real wicked and evil boy because of everything that happened in his life Lilith just started dancing around cheering as loud she was hoping Asmodeus would do a great job of erasing Magnus' memories of him and Alec and nothing tastes better than sweet revenge from a demon but what Lilith didn't realised that once Asmodeus does get rid of Magnus' memories of him and Alec he'll make sure if Lilith tries to hurt Magnus Asmodeus and Magnus will kill Lilith so he'll have the last laugh not her but he's just letting her live her last moments like this but least Amodeus agreed to this wicked plan because he doesn't like seeing his son like this dating people over and over again but yet again Asmodeus didn't like anyone that Magnus dated because Asmodeus wanted Magnus to be more focused saying that love isn't real it's just a fake thing to feel but Magnus did yell at his father multiple times telling him to back off and let him be happy for once in his life.
