Alec POV: So it's 7:25am I just got done finishing making Magnus some breakfast I had made him an omelette with spinach, cheese, spring onion and some toast of the side with a little serve of butter in a mini little bowl and for drink just some black coffee with a little bit of sugar I grab some painkillers and some hangover pills for Magnus I go into the bedroom with the table with the food, pills and drink "Good morning Magnus." I said "Ugh what time is it. Oh my head hurts." He said as I hand him to cup and pills "It's 7:30am. And yeah you drank 4 and half glasses last night and don't worry I drove back home." I said as I sit up the table onto his lap "Oh this is nice thank you." He said to me I smiled and kissed his cheek. A few minutes ago by and he comes out with the table and empty plate, bowl and cup "So what's our plans for today?" He asked as I could smell something he must have showered after he finished eating then I knock on the door "Come in." I said and Magnus was bit shocked "Oh my god. Did you do this?" He asked me "Yeah I did it because I'm going to be busy all day look over reports so I didn't wanted you to be stuck in this house while I'm busy." I lied as I smile I didn't wanted to tell him the real reason behind it "Ok well I'll see you in a few hours then. I love you." He says as giving me a hug goodbye "I love you too." I say as I give him a kiss then he left the house so what to do first I check over the fireplaces to see if it's got enough wood it's a little low I go outside and I grab a few pieces of fire wood I place some outside in the holders then I go inside and place some in our bedroom and in the living room I quickly go downstairs and I grab the keys to the place I go outside down the stairs to a little room I unlock the door I walk outside and I grab the rake and a few rubbish bags I start raking the leaves off the steps, the drive way, near the steps and on the balconies I put all the leaves in the rubbish bags then I tie the bags up I leave them by the side of the house I quickly put the rake back in the little room beside the house and I grab a bottle of water from the fridge I take a sip of water and then my phone rings it's Magnus calling.
*phone call incoming from mangus*
Magnus: Hello love just checking in seeing how are you doing?
Alec: I'm doing good what about you?
Magnus: Yeah I'm having the most wonderful time even though it's been 45 minutes it's still amazing thank you for doing this with me but I wish I was spending the day with you.
Alec: Yeah I know but I didn't wanted you to be stuck in this house with me working trying to read over some files but I promise I'll make it up to you.
Magnus: Aww I know you will. Anyways how is the files going? Anything good?
Alec: No not really just random files but I'll have some notes written down so least everyone can read them as soon as I come back speaking over which? Do you want to stay in Rome maybe 2 to 3 weeks but it's up to you of course.
Magnus: Um maybe 2 weeks and 2 days so 16 days we can stay in Rome. Anyways I gotta go but I'll send you a text to check in and I'll text you when I'll be back home.
Alec: Ok well have fun and I love you and I miss you.
Magnus: I will thanks and I love you too and I miss you too bye Alexander.
Alec: Bye Magnus.

Well better keep working least Magnus did some magic used some magic on me last night so I feel a little bit more better I take another sip of water and I grab the lawn mower I start cutting the grass so then it's very short and cut down I feel like I should get something to cover this so then the grass doesn't have to be cut down I kept cutting the grass then a few minutes ago I finished I put the lawn mower back in the room and I grab the rake and I start raking up the grass and putting them in bags soon as I finished that I tie up the bag and I put them near the other bags lucky it was rubbish day I grab the bags and I put them in the rubbish bins and I close the door and I lock it then I walked back upstairs. Well least it's looking a lot more cleaner I grab out of the pressure washing and I start cleaning the floor, the drive way, the steps the balconies and the sides of the house soon as that is done I start stretching but I know I still got a lot of work to do but least it's looking like more homing, nice and clean and least nobody lives around this area I put the pressure washing and the rake back in the room and I close the door and I lock it so next up was cleaning the floors so I go upstairs and I go inside I go into the little closet and I grab the vacuum cleaner I start vacuuming the carpet downstairs, upstairs, our bedroom, the hallways and our office it only take 45 minuets then I go back downstairs put the vacuum cleaner back into the closet and I grab some window cleaner and a few rolls of paper towel and some rubbish bags I start cleaning every single window in the house I know my back will hurt so much but least I can use the healing rune after I'm finished cleaning this house I still got to mop the floors in the bathrooms and balconies then I need to clean the house ugh this is going to be so much work but I really want to make this night special because I'll give him the promise ring tonight that's why I sent him out because if he stayed here this house wouldn't be very clean. 2 hours later and the house is nice and clean I grab the keys and I go through the backyard I lock the door I start walking down the steps then I walk down the steps from the side of the house I open the door then I close the door I lock it up I pick the bags in the rubbish bins then I unlock the car door I get in and I close the door I start up the car and I start driving soon as I start leaving the garage truck was going up the hill where Magnus and I live but then my phone rings lucky it's on the Bluetooth speaker in the car and I'm still in the neighbourhood where we are living I check the caller ID it's Magnus again I guess he is missing me so much I click the button to answer it and it connects the call to me and Magnus.
*phone call started*
Alec: Hey are you missing me so much?
Magnus: Yes I am I'm just seeing if you want to get some lunch? If not it's ok I understand I just miss you and I really want to see you right now.
Alec: Oh babe I'm sorry I'm just getting really caught up these files and I texted Jace and he said his going to call me in a bit so I can't talk too much but maybe when you come back home we can go and do some shopping and maybe get some dessert or we can get some desserts tonight then tomorrow we can go shopping if you would like?
Magnus: Oh my god yes ok well I'll still text you when I'm almost home and I love you don't work too hard.
Alec: I love you too and I won't.

Aww well least his having fun I know how much he wants to see me but he will love this surprise for sure I still keep driving around then I founded a little place where it sells his favourite desserts I stop the car and I hop out of the car I lock it then I go into the store "Hello there sir, how can I help you today?" A young gentleman asked me "Hi yes can I get 6 mixed chocolate chips brownies, 4 white chocolate chips cookies and 7 mixed chocolate chips with coconut cupcakes." I said "Yes sir that will be $23 dollars and 45 cents." I use my credit card to pay and the gentleman puts it in boxes and covers so then it wasn't going to break I leave the store and I unlock the car door I put them in the back of the car and putting some rope around it so it will stay put I close the back door to the car and I get back into the driver seat and I start driving to find a local flower shop I founded one a few miles away I go out and I lock my car door I go into the shop it was a young women "Hello sir how can I help you today?" She asked "Hi there um I'm wondering do you guys sell rose petals by themselves I just want to know because my friend is planning something special tonight so I'm running errands for my friend." I lied to her but I put a smile on my face "Um yes we do." She said "Ok well can I get a box of rose petals and a dozen of roses please?" I said as I take out my credit card "Ok so it's 21 dollars." She says as she is wrapping up the roses and I pay with my credit card "Thank you and have a lovely day." She says as she hands me the roses and the rose petals box I go back in my car and I put them in back seat so last stop for the day is going to the local supermarket because I decided that I'm gonna cook a little romantic dinner for Magnus and I. I start driving to the supermarket and after a few minutes trying to find it I finally founded it and I drive through the car park I grab a ticket and try to find a parking spot I finally park the car and I take my phone, credit card and the keys I lock the door I go over the elevator to go up the supermarket soon as it reaches the level I go and grab a trolley I enter in the supermarket I start looking around then I found some chicken then I kept looking around then I found some prawns I place some prawns enough for the bowl then I kept looking around I go over and grab a plastic bag and I grabbed asparagus I placed it in the bag and wrapped it then I grab another plastic bag then I grab some broccoli I wrapped up the bag then I founded a cute little baby potatoes that's enough food I grab a bag of ice then I went down and I founded some Champagne and a bucket then I went down another part of the supermarket I grab a few candles and I got everything that I need and now all I have to do is pay for all this and get home. 45 minutes went by and I start working on the dinner I hope Magnus loves this I have the desserts in the fridge and I have the roses, rose petals and promise ring in the guest bathroom because least none of us goes in there I grab a bowl from the top self and I also grab some olive oil, some salt and pepper I put the chicken in bowl and I place some olive oil and salt and pepper over the chicken to get all the flavours mixed in I grab some plastic wrap and I cover the bowl and I leave it to the side I grab another big bowl and I do the same thing with asparagus and baby potatoes I leave that to the side as well I go over to the sink and I wash my hands really well because of all the olive oil on my hands it took 15 minutes just to get the oil off my hands I grab a baking sheet and a frying pan I turn on the oven and I grab the bowl and I unwrap the plastic wrap and I place the asparagus and baby potatoes on the baking sheet and I place it in the oven then I grab the bowl with the prawns I turn on the stove and I place the frying pan on top of it I wait a few minutes and I put in prawns as I sprinkle a bit some salt and pepper on the prawns for some flavour and I grab a wooden spoon I start stirring the food around after a few minutes of cooking the food is done I turn off the stove and oven I go to the spare bathroom that has the rose petals I grab them and I start placing it all over the front door to the balcony then I went back to grab the candles and I start placing the candles over the ground and outside to make it look super romantic I grab some little lights and I wrapped them around the table and the balcony railing then I go back I grab the roses and then I hear my phone ringing it's Magnus I quickly pick up my phone I answer it.
*phone call*
Magnus: Hey Alexander I'm almost home I'm just around the block I'll be 3 or 4 minutes. Today was a fun day I can't wait to tell you about it.
Alec: Ok Magnus I'll see you soon also I love you so much Magnus.
Magnus: Ok Alexander and I love you too.
*call ended*
Oh my god his almost here I quickly rush to get the promise ring and I put it in my pocket I'm so nervous I don't know why it's only a promise ring I quickly go over and I grab the card that I wrote in I'm hoping this night goes perfect I grab two plates and I put the food on the plates I put them on the table outside with knifes and forks I grab two champagne glasses and I put them outside I hear a car door close I quickly grab the roses and I stand outside I take a deep breathe and I have a big smile on my face everything is going to be perfect you're going to be okay relax take a deep breathe everything is okay tonight is going to be special in so many ways I take one more deep breathe this is it.
Magnus POV: "Thanks for dropping me over at home." I close the car door and I wave to my friend then my friend drives away it was such a good day I just wish Alec could have took the day off from working but hopefully we can go out to dinner tonight I take my keys out of my pocket and I unlock the door and I walk in the door taking off my shoes "Alexander I'm home." Hm that's strange his not answering oh my god I see rose petals on the ground I follow the trail there was candles too then soon as I kept walking I saw Alexander holding roses up "Oh my god no way this is happening right now oh my god did you do this for me?" I asked him as I starting crying I kept walking over to him "Yes I did. I clean everything I made dinner for us and I didn't wanted to tell you what I had planned because you would have ruin the surprise otherwise that's why I had you're friend to surprise you because I needed you out of the house for a couple of hours." He replies as I kiss his lips softly I place my hand onto his cheek "This is so perfect." I said as he takes my hand and we walk over to the table outside it's so beautiful it must have took him a while. He popped the champagne and pour it in 2 glasses I was still speechless we had dinner while we talked about how long this took him and what else I did today I'm just so happy that he did this all for me I'm so lost for words then he takes away our plates, forks and knifes and he placed them in the sink and comes out with a box he came and seats closer to me before he opens the box he hands me a card "What's this for?" I ask him "Open it and read it out loud." He says I open the card up and I start reading it "To my beautiful Magnus, words can't describe how much I care about you for my whole life I thought I couldn't find love because I grew up in the institute my whole life I thought I wouldn't break out of my shell but when I first met you I didn't know what to say I was shy, nervous and scared to see what would I do next but then you broke me out of that shell made me believe that truly we were meant to be but I know that maybe one day what about to say will come true but for right now I'm making a promise to you right here right now that I'll never leave you're side, I'll never stop loving you, I'll never stop showing you love and I'll never stop giving up on you. You gave me a better life I don't know what I would do without you so Magnus do you promise to love me for as long as we have together? Do you promise to never leave my side? Do you promise that we will be together forever? I love you Magnus. Now look down. Love Alexander xo" I start crying again and I look down Alec was on one knee "Do you promise me everything that I've written down in that card? Do you promise to always be with me? And this will be what you hope it is soon I promise. So what do you say?" He said as he pulls out a box and opens it I look at him "I promise." I said before he puts it on my finger he shows me what's inside the ring "Forever we'll keep our promises because how much I love you. I'll never leave you're side." The ring said inside I kept crying as he places the ring on my finger and he hugs me "I love you so much." I whisper "I love you too." He whispered back and we start having one of the cupcake, brownie and cookie while we're holding hands and drinking champagne I couldn't ask for a better night "This is so beautiful I'm so happy that I'm here with you right now." I said and a smile grew onto Alec's face he got out of his seat and I pulled me up "This night is just getting started." He said as he grabbed my hand I snap my fingers and everything was clean up from outside to inside "Aww I wanted us to do that tomorrow." Alec said but I kiss his cheek he took me into our room and he push me up against wall started kissing my lips I place my arms around him he starts unbuttoning my shirt I stop his hands "What? Is something wrong?" He asked me "No nothing is wrong it's just I'm worried that I'll hurt you because you're still healing." I said to him as he smiles "Don't worry I'm fine I use to healing rune. It shouldn't hurt my body while we do this please we haven't do anything sexual in a while." He said as I bring him over to the bed and I hold his hands "What if the healing rune wears off and you start feeling pain again?" I say to him as he lifts up his shirt "I'm perfectly fine." He says as I start tearing up and running my fingers across his scars where he was attacked "I'm so so sorry I really tried everything to get all the bleeding to stop. I tried my best I'm so scared that one day I might lose you and you won't be around to hold him or tell me everything is okay I'm scared that my life won't be ever completely without you Alexander." I said as he holds me close and I close my eyes "Ssh it's okay let it all out." He says as I keep crying on his chest "I'm just so scared that I'll lose you one day and I can't imagine my world without you. I wake up everyday worried that something bad will happened I don't want to lose you at all Alexander you have changed me into a better man." I say as my voice cracks while I'm still crying. Alec kept holding me rocking me back and forth to keep me calm
Alec POV: I know where Magnus is coming from we both had terrible experiences that we don't want to lose each other at all "The reason I gave you this promise ring is because it shows how much I love you and care about you but it's also because it shows that you'll be brave for both of us if something happens to one of us but I know we'll be missing each other so much but least we know we'll be in each other's heart and feel each other's soul." I said to him he kept crying I kept rocking him for a few hours I kissed his forehead softly "It's ok we don't have to do anything tonight if you don't want to. I'll be here for you." I say to him then Magnus lays down on the bed he starts drifting off to sleep I place the blanket over him I kiss his forehead softly "Sweet dreams." I whisper softly. I go into my office real quick and I write down on a piece a paper and I go back into the room and I place it near the night stand then I give him once last kiss on the cheek I go downstairs and I clean everything up I did the dishes, put them away in the cupboards, I blown out the candles and got rid of the melted candle wax and I do other things it didn't take me too long it was 1:30am in the morning I was bit tired but I know I have to do a lot of things I close the door to outside and I turn on the heats all over the place I feel like Magnus and I are going to sleep in a lot. I go back upstairs and I could feel the whole place warming up I go into office I close the door behind me I go over to my desk I grab a red bull out of the little fridge I open it up and I take a sip well it's going to be a long night I start doing some work I look over folders that was on my USB stick then I see my office phone is ringing I quickly pick it up because I didn't wanted Magnus to wake up he was so tired and he needed to sleep he always looks peaceful when his sleeping I check the time on my computer and it was 2:20am I take another sip of red bull
"Hey dude how is the working going?" Jace asked me over the phone nobody knows I'm in Rome because it's mine and Magnus secret "It's going alright I guess. This definitely hard work to do." I said to him "Yeah I know." He replied back as I keep typing "Listen I won't keep you long I just wanted to check in to see how are you doing?" He said to me "Yeah I know and I'm doing okay just still working on getting 100% healed I'm almost there I think I'm 88% healed." I said to him "Well that's good okay well I got to go I'll send you're love to Izzy. I love you Alec." Jace said to me "I love you Jace. Bye." I said and hang up I kept working until it was 5:12am I was half tired and half awake I had 5 redbulls to keep me awake I know I'll probably go to sleep soon I just want to keep working on this last folder and I just remembered we barely have any food in this house so after this report I better go to the store and get some more food for this place after 2 minutes I finished writing the report I grab my keys, wallet and phone I head downstairs and I open the back door for outside I get out and I lock the door I start walking down the steps to the car I unlocked the car door I get into the car I start it up and I buckle up my seatbelt and I start driving down to the local supermarket I went to yesterday it's such a beautiful morning I know I didn't wanted to leave Magnus in the house by himself but since me and him are going to be in Rome for a while and I don't think we always want to go out for dinner so I'm gonna get a lot of food for the house and other things that we need and also lucky it's not rush hour I made it to the supermarket after 10 minutes of driving I park my car and I make it up to the supermarket I grab a trolley and I walk into the supermarket. After a few minutes of shopping I gotten a lot of foods, drinks, plastic cups, some snacks, some energy drinks and some microwave dinners just in case if me and Magnus are lazy to cook I checked out it came out to be $230.98 that's a lot of money but it's a little worth it because I don't know how long me and Magnus are staying in Rome for so I want to make sure we got enough stuff I go down to the carpark I put everything in the car and I start driving again there's like a little flower shop not too far were me and Magnus live so I pick up some flowers for him and I put a card in them so he can read it when he wakes up I make my way back home my back hurts a little for doing the yard work yesterday and caring these bags up and down the stairs I go through the back way because it's a little easier and plus I don't want to wake up Magnus I'll make him some breakfast so I get a frying pan, cooking spray, some food out the fridge and I start making some sunnyside up with some bacon, toast and some orange juice I love showing Magnus how much he means to me I won't be here today if it wasn't for Magnus.
Magnus POV: I wake up and I noticed Alexander isn't in the bedroom with me I look over and I saw some flowers there was a little card with them I pick up the card and I read it "Magnus my everything, my one true love, my lover I love you so much just stay in bed I'll bring breakfast up for you and maybe we can talk some more if you want and we can do anything that you want to today because today and every single other day is going to be about you because you're my everything. Xoxo Alec." I smile as I see Alexander walk in with breakfast "Good morning sunshine." He said as I keep smiling and he set the table on the bed he kisses me on my cheek "How did you sleep?" He asked me "I slept pretty well. You're so amazing and absolutely perfect." I said to him I start eating the breakfast he made me "You're cooking is absolutely perfection just like you're personality Alexander." I said and he smiles I love his smile but everything about him is so amazing and beautiful I'm glad he's in my life he is completely different from my exs
