Chapter 24 Magnus & Alec

Alec was in the cell he was just sitting there not doing anything but he could sense that Magnus probably has founded the letter and the ring Alec feels like that maybe Jace or Magnus would try and come down to get him out of the silent brothers but Alec wouldn't really go with them he wants to make sure he'll be back to normal because right now he just felt broken he felt like screaming really loudly but he couldn't he didn't really wanted to even though his soul felt like it was screaming ripping out his vocal cords making them so he couldn't speak but Alec does miss Magnus but Alec kniws he'll probably be out some point the sun was setting it was getting night time this was the first night for both Magnus and Alec being apart from each other while Magnus be in his apartment and Alec in a cell at the silent brothers Alec would either sit on the bed in the cell or on the floor he wasn't doing alright but he knew this was kinda of the only way he could get better Magnus was pacing around he didn't like the idea of Alec in that cell Magnus didn't know what he would do without Alec but he did put the ring on his finger Magnus founded a shirt of Alec's in Magnus' bedroom Magnus picked it up and hugged it he knew he couldn't actually hug Alec but he could imagine it Magnus cried he didn't wanted to be alone he wanted his Alexander to be there but Alec wouldn't come back until he was ready to but Magnus didn't wanted to be gone too long with Alec because Alec made Magnus better on the days their were busy with their own things but they would always make ways to see each other no matter how hard it gotten they couldn't stay away from each other they needed each other Alec felt the love for Magnus the same strong force when Jace and Alec became parabatai it felt the same way. At Edom Lilith was excited she knew Asmodeus was working on a plan and hopefully it would work in a few weeks she wanted Magnus to pay right now but she had to wait since Asmodeus needed to find a way up to New York because if Asmodeus tries to make Magnus get rid of his memories down at Edom it'll be weak and Magnus would stop it from happening so Asmodeus wants to go up to New York since his magic would be more powerful and easy to make Magnus fall into a spell for him not knowing what the hell is going to happen to his memories but who knows what would happen to Alec once he finds out what happened to Magnus and his memories he'll be furious as anything he'll probably do anything to ask Asmodeus to bring back Magnus' memories but he'll won't.

Day 1

It was hard Magnus was in bed laying around he didn't feel like getting out of bed but he only got up to use the bathroom that's about it but Clary would come around giving him some drinks and foods but he barely touched the food he just wants Alec to be in the same bed as him but he couldn't be only Magnus was wondering what the silent brothers was doing to Alec right now but all he did was getting food, some water and just either sleeping or pacing in the cell he couldn't really do much he watched the sun rise seeing people walk by and seeing the sun set but the silent brothers let Alec know that Jace was looking after the institute while he was being recovered by the silent brothers Alec felt alone but he just heard screaming here and there but Brother Zachariah would always check up on Alec seeing how he is doing but Brother Zachariah always sent fire messages to Magnus to let him know that Alec is doing ok but sometimes Magnus wouldn't get them so Brother Zachariah sent some to Clary she went over to let Magnus know but it seem like Magnus was shutting out everyone he didn't wanted to put Alec there in the first place he wanted Alec to get better Magnus would have looked after Alec himself but Magnus knew he'll probably break down in tears every night if it wasn't working but Magnus wouldn't give up on hope.

Day 2

Alec was just in his cell sleeping away either though it was hard to sleep but Brother Zachariah did let the rest of the silent brothers know to not make Alec have nightmares because of what happened so they didn't do it to him but the silent brothers did it to the rest of the people Jace was running the institute he really wanted to visit his own parabatai but the only question is would Alec see Jace? Who knows but Jace could still Alec was around it was hard to not see his face around the institute Jace has tried contacting Magnus but Magnus hasn't been answering anything Jace was getting a bit worried about Magnus but Jace didn't think it'll be a good idea for Magnus to be alone right now but Magnus wanted to be by himself he went to his and Alec's place in Rome every single room was filled with memories of Magnus and Alec but Magnus used his magic to teleport to go to Rome and soon as he got to Rome he went into the car and went down to the local supermarket he brought every single bottle of alcohol he could find he had to also buy some things to heal his hangovers with and he brought some food from some of the local Rome restaurants he did drove back home Magnus was on his second glass of whiskey he knew he shouldn't be washing down the pain but he wishes Alec could have been better without feeling like he was going to be depressed but for Magnus it seem like he was going down the rabbit hole drinking his feelings away until he was numb but nobody didn't know where Magnus went he kept it a secret the only person Magnus told about the place he was in was Catarina but Magnus didn't tell Catarina that he was going to Rome he just wanted to be left alone just in his own thoughts. Clary went down to the silent brothers she left the institute and made her way down there she didn't tell anyone where she was going because she really didn't have anything going on that day so she wanted to check up on Alec she made it down where the silent brothers was she placed her hand on the stone with a rune on it she saw it glow up and she entered into the cave type place she finally made her way down the steps she gotten stopped by one of the silent brothers "I'm here to see Brother Zachariah." She asked and the silent brother leaned her to him she saw everyone in their cells she didn't know which cell Alec was in but she knew he had to be around once they stopped at a door the silent brother knocked on the mental door Brother Zachariah opened the door he saw Clary he nodded to his fellow silent brother and he went off while Clary walked into the room he closed the door behind her and he started talking with his thoughts "What are you doing here Clarissa Fairchild?" He asked her "I just wanted to see how is he holding up? Has he said much?" She asked him but he just shook his head "Have you seen Magnus around? Nobody hasn't seen him I've seen him only last night and I went to his apartment it was quite." She said and Brother Zachariah sighed out loud "I haven't seen him he's probably alright but I can take you to see Alec follow me." He said and he started leading the way Clary followed behind him it looked like it was kinda of a long walk wherever they were keeping Alec after a few minutes of walking Brother Zachariah stopped but Clary was about to ask why did he stopped until Brother Zachariah turned and Clary turned as well she saw Alec laying there he was sleeping laying his side he seemed peaceful but at the same time he didn't seem ok it's like he wasn't too happy being there but he was missing Magnus the only thing is Clary wanted Magnus to see the state Alec was in but who knows why Magnus was keeping his distance nobody knew where Magnus was hiding out nobody knew the type of state Magnus was in they just hoping that he'll show up soon to see his fiancé.
