What I Need... (GxG)

Down 4 You

 After the weekend I spent with Kehlani, I went home and got back into the swing of things, the only difference being that I wasn't single anymore. Surprisingly, it didn't change too much of my life except for the fact that I now had someone to share it with. 

 Kehlani was a welcomed breathe of fresh air. She helped me see myself from outside and I helped her do the same. If there is something I learned about Kehlani in the short time we've been together, it's that she was was really overly self-critical and somewhat of a perfectionist. She held herself to this almost impossible standard and never believed she reached it, even when she did and some more. 

 Flora Living was her baby and she was always working to make it better because she really cared. She hated dealing with the more financial aspects of it (which she constantly left to me) and was always reaching back to her past to find ways to make this app more attainable for people living the life she used to live. I loved having a front row seat to her in action.

 I was sitting at my desk, admiring Kehlani in her essence. She was so hot in her suit, all business like. 

I snapped out of my reverie to find her staring at me, "Isn't there work you should be attending to, Ms.Garcia?"

I giggled, "Of course, I do, but watching you work seems way more productive" I bit my lip, when I saw her eyes darken"... but since you want to talk about business. Ms.Dennis called about the contract you want with Google play" 

She groaned, "Ugh, all she wants is money. I can't sit through another  conference call with her and her greedy associates. She wants to make Flora a corporate and capital machine. I'm not doing it" 

I walked up behind her chair, I started massaging her shoulders, " I know you hate it, but I think you're almost through to her. Keep on standing your ground, you didn't come to her with business advice- it's her that wants your business. " I leaned in, toward her ear, " and I promise that if you can get through this, I'll make sure to help you recover." I nipped her ear and walked back to my desk. 

I heard her groan and then it was followed by a series of clicks and ringing. From behind me I heard Kehlani speak, "Yeah, hello. This is Ms.Parrish for Ms.Dennis. " I turned to her and gave her a proud smile, she rolled her eyes at me while poorly trying to hide the smile off her face. 

The next two hours while Kehlani was preoccupied with her phone call, I busied myself with filing papers and cleaning around the office. 

Around 1 when Kehlani finally got off the phone, she through a fist in the air. I turned toward her, "Good news, I hope?" 

"Hell yeah! Babe, I closed the contract. You were right I just had to stand my ground with her."

I walked to her and sat on her lap, "I knew you could close it,Keh" 

She laid her head on my chest, "For some reason though, I feel like I couldn't have done it without you"

I kissed her head, " No, you could have. I just sped up the process, but you would have done it anyway. It's who you are, Keh"

She looked at me and captured my lips with hers for a chaste kiss, "Thank you for believing in me, Drew"

"Always, Kehlani"

We sat in silence before I heard her stomach grumble, "Hungry, Ms.Parrish?" 

She leaned in her chair, "Well after a morning of hardwork, what did you expect?"

I laughed and reached for the phone to call for lunch, but she gripped me so that I couldn't leave. "What I'm hungry for... you can't call in for."

Getting the message, I wrapped my arms around her neck and replied, "and what would that be?"

She swiped everything on her desk on the floor and placed me on top. With her in between my legs and my skirt on the floor so that all I had on were my sheer stocking and my buttoned down blouse, she finally replied, "You, Ms.Garcia" 

"Well, I am your personal assistant and I did promise to help you recover... in any way needed. So how can I help Ms. Parrish?"

She growled and ripped off my stockings, "Just try not to scream"
