Jack

Mark and I talked the whole way back to my house. "So you're saying that just because you were drawing me in class that you almost got the principal called on you?" Mark laughed. "Yes! I was being as discrete as possible, but it obviously didn't work." I said. He laughed again and wrapped his arm around me. "Do I get to see the picture?" He asked. "Maybe. Only if you help me with painting one of the walls in my room." I said. "Me and you mixed with paint is gonna be fun." Mark said as I fumbled with my keys. "My mom isn't gonna be back until late tonight, she's gonna be working overtime." I said. "Let's eat real quick and then get started on the wall and the music. I want to have the wall finished today. " I set my bag down on the tables and searched through the fridge for food. "We can order a pizza, I'll pay for it. That way you don't have to make anything." Mark said.
"Are you sure? I don't want you to have to use your money." I said. "Jack, it's fine. I'll order it and while we wait we can get started on your room." Mark said. I sighed and wrapped my arms around him. "Thank you babe." He wrapped his arms around me and rubbed my back. "Of course, now you get the stuff ready and I'll order the food." Mark said. I leaned up and kissed his cheek. "I love you." I said. "I love you too." He said, leaning down and kissing me. I smiled into the kiss and stood on my toes. "Stupid tall bastard." I said. He chuckled and picked me up. "Better?" He asked. "Yes." I held his face in my hands and kissed him again. "Okay, go start and I'll order pizza." Mark said setting me down.
I walked down the hall and into my room. I needed to move a couple things and tape down the protective plastic. I cleared off my desk and pushed it off to the side. I moved the other small table away from the wall and picked up the package of plastic and blue tape off my bed. "You want some help with that?" Mark poked his head through the door. "That would be lovely." I said. He chuckled and kneeled next to me, holding up the plastic while I taped it down.
Just as we had finished putting up the last part of the plastic and tape around the trim a knock sounded at the door. "Pizza!" Mark cheered running out to get the food. I giggled and started pulling out paint brushes and paint. I dug through my bag, looking for the paper I had drawn the mural on. While I knelt down I felt like someone was standing behind me.
Watching me.
I whipped my head around to look at the window. No one. I shook it off and kept looking. "Jack! Pizza!" I finally found the paper, setting it down on the desk and joining Mark in the living room. "Yes! Food." He handed me a plate with two slices of cheese pizza. "You're amazing." I said taking a bite and jumping up to sit on the counter."Not as amazing as you." He said. "Ya cheesy gob." I laughed. "Duh, why do you think I ordered the cheese pizza?" He asked walking over to me. I smiled at him. "I love you Jack." He said. "I love you too Mark." I set my pizza down and pulled him into a hug. He wrapped his arms around me and rubbed my back. I ran my fingers through his hair and smiled. I got that same weird feeling again and looked up at the window. I could see a silhouette of someone through the thin curtains. I pushed Mark back and jumped off the counter. I pulled the curtains back and... no one. I took a deep breath and let the curtain fall back into place.
"You okay babe?" Mark asked walking over to me. "I... Yeah." I said. "You're a terrible liar, what's wrong?" He asked. "I just... I feel like I'm being watched." I said. Mark pulled me close to him, almost protectively. "Whoever or whatever is making you feel like this, I promise they won't hurt you. I'll be right here." He said. I wrapped my arms around him and buried my face into his chest. "What do you say we turn on some music, eat, and paint your room?" He asked. I looked up with a smile and nodded. Painting would get my mind off of everything. We finished our pizza and went back to my room. I grabbed my phone and plugged it into my speakers and clicked on shuffle. 'Shape of you.' I laughed and swayed my hips to the music.  Picking up the paper and a pencil, I started doing the line art on the wall. Mark accompanied me, dancing along side me. "When I'm done with the line art, you can help me outline it and paint it." I said. He nodded and kept dancing with me.
I finished the drawing part of it finally. Mark had pulled me aside to dance a couple times during it. But, I wasn't complaining. We started doing the outline of it with black paint. Mark broke the silence with a snort. "What?" I asked. He shook his head. "Nothing. Nothing." He said. I raised an eyebrow in suspicion. He cracked up laughing. "Paint." He said. My eyebrows creased together and I picked up my phone. I stared annoyed at my phone, black paint was smeared on my cheek. "Come on." I said. Mark cracked up laughing and set his paintbrush down on the table. "I'll go get some paper towels." He said. I smiled and shook my head as I continued to paint over the pencil markings on the wall. I could hear the water running in the kitchen and Mark humming to himself. I swayed to the sound of the relaxing tone of the song. But of course the feeling of comfort didn't last long, it took mere moments until I felt the burning sensation of eyes glaring into my back again.
I froze up and shivers went down my spine. Who was it and why were they watching me? I felt tears creep out of the corners out of my eyes and roll silently down my cheeks. "W-Who are you and what do you want?" I asked nervously. There was a bang on my window and I whimpered. "Please... Just leave me alone." I sniffed. More banging, but this time it sounded like there was more than one person. I set my brush down and fell to the floor, covering my ears. "Stop! Please! Just sto-op!" I sobbed. "Jack?!" I could hear Mark running down the hall. I looked up at him, fear coursing through my veins, my heart pounding like a jack hammer. "Ma-ark." He knelt down and helped me up. "What happened? Are you hurt?" He asked looking me over. I shook my head. "S-S-Someone was a-at the window. Watching me. They were banging on the wall and window." I sniffed. "They? Is that you being pronoun friendly or as in two people?" He asked. "T-Two of them... There was two of them." I said.
Mark went to the window and pulled back the thin curtains. "Oh god." I turned to look. The window was cracked and words were scrawled across it.
"You're mine Jack."
Mark let the curtains fall back into place and rushed over to me. "Hey, it's okay. Nothing is going to happen to you." He said wrapping his arms around me. "I'm not worried about what'll happen to me. I'm worried about you. You don't know how he can be." I said. "How who can be?" I looked up at him.

"Victor."
