It was around 12 pm when I started to get up, I put on my slippers and grabbed my lantern, lighting the candle inside. I changed into my own warmer clothing, I had put on a baggy hoodie that I had gotten from my college. I opened my door slowly, cringing as it squeaked open. I stepped out of my room and closed the door behind me.

I snuck to the dungeons, I was surprised to see no guards there, thats a little concerning to be honest... I pushed the thought aside and walked down the steps, holding out the lantern in front of me so I could see. I made my way down the dark hall again, my heart racing as I got nervous, this place reminded me of old horror movies, I felt as if I was living in a horror movie and this is where I would die.

I walked over to the same cell as before to see the same man inside.

Loki

He was still sitting in the same spot. Nothing changed since the last time I saw him, his cheeks still stained with tears and his lips still covered with his own blood. I walked over to the bars and set my lantern down, he looked up at me and connected his eyes with mine, this time I could see his face completely since I had the light, his eyes were the most beautiful green I had ever seen in my life. I felt frozen as I stared into them, I shook my head, snapping myself out of it. I lifted my hands up to the bars and closed my eyes, trying to repeat what I did the other day with the mirror. Surprisingly it worked, I was now on the other side of the bars and was not standing in front of Loki, I looked down at him.

He was looking at me in shock, I was just a shocked as he was. I knelt down in front of him and lifted my hands to rest on his cheeks, he winced at my touch, I muttered a quick apology, remembering about the stitches. I brought two fingers up to his temples on each side of his head. I could speak to him, but he couldn't speak to me. At least not physically. I closed my eyes and spoke in my head.

'  I may be able to speak to you but you can't speak to me with your condition, but I have allowed you into my thoughts so you could talk here.'

'Why are you here,' Loki questioned coldly, his voice was smooth and had a British accent.

'I could ask you the same thing,' I replied

'It is none of your business,' he said.

'You're right, but you did not deserve this punishment,'

'Yes, I did,'

No, he didn't, 'Open your eyes, we can still talk like that,'

I opened my eyes and he opened his beautiful green eyes as well.

Now I kind of understand that we might look alike, but mostly because our eyes and hair were the same colour.

'You shouldn't be here,' he told me.

'Why not?' I quizzed.

'I am dangerous.' he said in a warning tone.

'So am I,' I replied.

"I doubt that." the corner of his mouth curled up into a bit of a smirk.

"Really?" I said in a challenging voice as I raised my brows.

He rolled his eyes, not replying.

I slapped him across the face without thinking, he turned to look at me again, this time his eyes were dark, and indeed dangerous.

He raised his hand and returned the blow across my face, sending me falling back to the ground. I lifted my hand and touched where he had slapped me, It stung a bit but other than that it wasn't too painful. I turned back and glared at him.

'Did you just slap me?' I glared at him.

'I've killed many people, darling, I am not afraid to hit a pathetic mortal,' he glared back at me. I sat up quickly and pushed him onto his back as I wrapped my slender fingers around his neck. His eyes got dark as he grabbed my wrists in a painfully tight grip. I tried not to cry out when he squeezed them to the point where I heard them pop. He pinned me down on the stone floor and glared at me.

'You have no idea what you are getting yourself into,'  he hissed, 'You are playing with fire, and you are gonna get hurt,' he said in a warning tone.

Tears welled up in my eyes as his grip tightened even more. I let a little cry out but shut my mouth as quick as I could, the familiar coldness ran through my body again, the same coldness I felt when I would turn into my Jotun form.

Uh oh.

His brows furrowed in confusion.

'Why are you not fighting or crying for help?' he quizzed, confused.

'It will only get you in more trouble,' I whimpered.

'Don't you want that?' he wondered.

I shook my head. His grip loosened slightly and he frowned.

Darkness swept over me as I lost conciousness.

--------

I groaned as I woke up, I forgot that I was in the dungeons. I sat up and winced in pain, remembering that Loki had really hurt my wrists. I held my wrists close to my chest trying not to cry from the pain, it felt as if he broke them. They were bruised and red from his grip, I heard someone clear their throat, I turned and saw Loki sitting against the wall. He pointed to my wrists and looked at them, I furrowed my brows. It took me a while to realize what he meant, I looked back at my hands to see that they were blue again.

I gasped and quickly pulled my sleeves over my hands and covered my face with my hood, I turned my back to him, embarrassed. "Don't look at me!" I cried.

"Look." I heard him say in my head.

I hesitated but looked back at him, peaking over my shoulder. His skin was the exact same blue and his eyes were also red. I wasn't the only one? He looked down just as embarrassed as I was and quickly turned back to his pale skin. I turned around and scooted over to him, I was still holding my wrists protectivly to myself. I looked at him facinated. "Beautiful..." I mumbled, I thought he didnt hear me but apparently he did, he looked up surprised.

'Really?' he said.

I didn't say anything, I just nodded with my mouth slightly open in awe. For the first time I saw him truly smile, not grin, not smirk, he had a real smile.
