Loki's POV

I gained conscious again as I slowly opened my eyes.

I was surrounded by white, or at least the floor was white. I pushed myself off the floor and looked around. I was back in the same glass prison when I first attacked New York.

"I think I'm having a bit of deja vu," I heard a familiar voice. I groaned as I sat up, my body still aching.

I chuckled. "You and I both," I looked over to the dark-skinned man.

"The Avengers stopped the Chitauri, once again," he said.

"And what of Leana, did you see what she turned into?" I questioned glaring at him.

"I did not, but the Avengers did, as well as someone else," He walked up to the glass. "And who might that be," I questioned.

"You'll meet him when you are sent back to Stark Tower,"

"You're letting me go?" I quizzed.

"You'll be sent back to Stark Tower, the Avengers will keep an eye on you. You seem to forget who Leana is, and you want to kill her," he told me.

"I am well aware of that,"

"Yeah, well, the real you would never want to kill her. The real you would do anything to protect her," he said 'matter of a factly', walking away from the glass. "Now I know you won't answer any of my questions, but will you maybe answer this one question I have for you?" He asked.

"Depends on what it is," I said.

"Who did you meet when you fell into that wormhole?" He questioned.

I stayed silent, not answering his question. "Fair enough. You will be sent back to Stark tower tomorrow morning, you will have to get used to being around Leana without harming her," Fury said walking out of the room.

Leana's POV

The screen flicked off as Fury walked out of the room. "Seriously, is it just me?" Bruce shivered.

"See, this isn't Loki," I huffed.

"I have asked if Mrs crest is available in a few days to come in and try to retrieve Loki's memories,"

"What did she say?" I asked. "She said she will try," I nodded.

"Well, I think we should all get some rest before having to deal with crazy guy tomorrow," Tony sighed.

Everyone retired to their rooms except me. "You coming?" Nat questioned.

"Yeah, I'll be there in a bit." I smiled.

I made my way down to Loki's prison. The doors slid open, Loki was still sitting on the ground fiddling with his hands.

He looked up hearing the doors slide shut, his eyes landing on me. "Hey..." I hesitated.

He looked down to his lap. I walked up to the glass, sitting down in front of him.

He chuckled. "Honestly, I'm impressed. That should have killed you," He shook his head, still looking at his lap.

"Well, I'm not human so..." I shrugged. "I realized that," He replied.

"Can I ask you something?"

He stayed quiet.

"Who am I to you?" I quizzed.

He finally looked up, his blue orbs meeting my green orbs.

"Why do you care so much?" He glared at me. "I just want to know-" "You are no more than a pathetic girl!" He hissed, I was taken aback by this. My mouth open slightly as I tried to hold back the tears threatening to spill.
