Dark Angel (Chapter 28)

"I spoke to Loki when I was on Asgard," I said.

"How? Did he come back?" Thor questioned.

"No, he and I can speak telepathically," I replied. "He said that I wasn't safe, that Thanos wanted him to kill me."

"Wait, hold up, Thanos?" Tony said.

I stayed silent. "Leana, I know there must be more to Loki's story than what we were told," Thor said.

"I don't know if he would want me to say," I mumbled.

"It is best that we do know if it's important. Thanos is pretty dangerous, so it would be best we know what's going on," Thor walked towards me.

I hesitated, "Remember when Loki 'attacked' New York?"

They all nodded their heads, Clint rolled his eyes. "That... Wasn't him," I admitted.

"Yeah, yeah, likely story," Clint rolled his eyes. "It's true!" I exclaimed. "This exactly why he wouldn't say anything, because he knew you wouldn't believe him." I fumed.

"Thor, he even tried telling you! And you didn't believe him!" I shouted at Thor, he frowned.

"He didn't have any proof," Thor said softly. "Well do you believe him now?? Is this enough proof?!" I said, referring to Loki's absence.

"Can't you see that he's changed?" I frowned, my voice now soft.

"I believe you," Natasha said standing up. "Thor, you said you feel like there's more to Loki's story than what you know. Then why don't you believe what Leana's trying to tell you? Of course Loki would tell her, he loves her, he trusts her, and he cares about her. She listens to him, he listens to her." Nat said.

It took a minute for Thor to take in what we were all saying. "You're right," He mumbled.

"So what's the plan?" He said louder this time.

I joined everyone on the couch and began discussing the plan.

Loki's POV

Crash!

I groaned in pain from the impact, falling from the sky.

I stood up slowly, scepter still in my hand. I looked around, I was in a field next to a road. I used my magic and shapeshifted to look like a regular Midgardian man.

I waited at the side of the road until eventually one of the 'cars' pulled over letting me get inside.

"Where to stranger?" The man said happily.

"Anywhere near New York," I said, sounding exhausted. The man nodded and began driving. "So, what's with the costume?" He questioned looking at me in the mirror.

I hesitated. "I was doing a photo shoot for a show," I covered.

"I see," The man nodded.

A half hour passed when he finally came to a stop, letting me out.

I wandered the streets of New York. Many mortals gave me looks of horror, judgment, confusion, and anger. Many of the mothers hid their children protectively when they saw me.

Leana's POV

We warned shield about Loki and told them not to kill him, they hesitantly obeyed my request. I told shield to send out a warning to everyone in new york to get inside and stay inside until further notice.

I was given a suit from Tony that would help control my power. It was a green and black tight suit, Kind of like Nat's.

We all got suited up and ready to protect New York.
