I awaken the next morning and shower while I get dressed I see Tony threatened The Mandarin and sigh getting coffee before going down to the lab.
"Tony. Why does the TV say you threatened a terrorist?" I ask as the doorbell rings.
"Are we still at ding? We're supposed to be on total security lockdown." He says banging the table.
"I imagine there is only so much he can do when you give the world your address." I tell Tony pulling the gun out of one of my boots and walk upstairs as Tony gets in the suit. I point it at the door as it opens.

"Right there is fine.You're not the Mandarin.Are you? Are you?" Tony says all at once.
"You don't remember.Why am I not surprised?" the woman says.
"That's not the point. Who are you?" I ask her as I shoot a bullet at her feet to show I will shoot her. Before she can answer two bags fall from upstairs as Pepper comes down stairs. I put my gun in my boot and go upstairs grabbing my purse as he and Pepper fight. As I get downstairs the place blows up. I hold onto the closest thing to me feeling everything around me shake and break. I feel bits of the house cut into my skin. I make my way to Tony.
"Come on we have to get out of here!" I exclaim as the iron man suit flies onto his body.
"Get out to Pepper."he orders and I do as told getting out. I hold onto Pepper as the house goes down. I tear up thinking Tony is dead and Pepper screams for him. Later as the police and firefighters walk around she picks up a helmet and puts it on. Once she takes it off she grabs me and Maya and we drive I watch Maya closely not trusting her. In the car my phone rings and I pick it up hearing a frantic Steve"Evelyn! Are you ok?What happened? How is Pepper?"
"Steve. I'm so glad to hear your voice. I have a few cuts and bruises maybe a twisted ankle. Happy got hurt and Tony threatened The Mandarin and he blew up Tony's house. T I don't think h he made it Steve." I say trying to stay steady.
"Are you safe?" Steve ask calmer.
"Yea,I'm with Pepper. Steve I love you. I'll call you when I can." I say and hang up as we get to the hotel. We go inside and cheek into a room. I pull Pepper aside and pull the gun from earlier out of my boot and the refill clip"You need to keep this on you,because of Tony your a target." I say and show her how to shoot and reload. She hides them and I put the spare gun from my bag into my boot beside my knife.

I turn to Maya"Talk" I tell her.
She talks about how she thinks her boss Killian is working for The Mandarin and her and Pepper keep talking. There is a knock and I pull my gun out and open the door to see hotel staff. I let him in only to see him killed and see Killian. I shoot him in the head"PEPPER RUN!" I exclaim and shoot Maya in the knees before Killian pins me and Pepper escapes. He curses and heats up wrapping his hands around my neck causing me to drop my gun. It goes off hitting the wall as Killian takes me and his thug brings Maya.
"I don't know why you want Pepper,but you won't get her." I tell him
"I want her as bait,but I suppose you'll do." Killian says bringing me to his lab and strapping me to a table. I fight against the binds before they knock me out and the world goes black.
When I wake I look around still strapped to a table.
"I was not expecting your body to not realize the injections. Didn't works one bit." Kilian says.
"I'm a bit special." I say coldly.
"Don't sound so cold. It's christmas. And to start it off with a bang we are going to blow up the president."Killian says proudly.
"You're nuts." I hiss.
"Perhaps,but I hold the war on terror in my hands. I am a god." He exclaims.
"The last man I heard say that had an ugly red skin skull and mental issues." I reply forcing myself to sound board.
He puts on medal knuckles and slugs me. I groan and spit blood onto him.
"This will be fun." Killian says smirking.
3rd POV
"We can't tell Cap his girl was taken hostage because she was protecting Pepper." Tony says as he and Rhodey sneak onto the barge.
"You better hope she is unharmed or Cap will never let you two go off alone again." Rhodey teases.
