Chapter 35: Wedding Part 1

Evelyn's POV

I wake up the next morning,and for a blissful moment I forget how nervous I am about the wedding. I snuggle into Steve,whom wraps his arms around me,holding me closer.

"Good morning beautiful." he says in his husky morning voice that drives me wild.

"Good morning handsome." I say gently as the babies kick me.

"Today is the day." he replies giving me his thousand watt smile.

"No fair. You know that smile melts me." I half heartedly complain.

I feel his chest vibrate as he chuckles"I have no idea what you mean." he replies playing innocent.

I shake my head,about to say something when the door opens and Natasha,Wanda and Pepper are there smiling.

"Come on lovebirds. Time to get up." she says turning on the lights.

I smile and grab my robe as they cover their eyes. Steve and I get up and I put my robe on while Steve puts on pj pants and a t-shirt. "Ok,but first I need the bathroom and breakfast" I tell her as I walk into the bathroom.

"Hurry,I ordered breakfast its up in Tony and I's place with Peggy and her nurse." she says as I do my bathroom things.

I walk over over to Steve and kiss him before I go with the group of ladies upstairs to Tony's floor. As we get off the elevator I smell the food and the babies begin to kick. I chuckle"They love food." I tease gently.

Wanda smiles"Can I feel them kick?" she ask gently.

I nod and place her hand over the spot they are kicking and she gasp"Woah"

I chuckle softly as he lets go."Amazing I know." I agree as I fix myself and Peggy some tea. I sit beside her with the tea and two plates of food. The six of us spend and hour sitting there eating and talking and laughing. The elevator opens and out walks the hair stylist and the makeup artist. The photographer close behind. We spend the better part of the day getting ready,and talking. Come 6 o'clock we are all ready and I am looking out the window,trying to calm my nerves. I hear the camera go off several times then someone clear their throat. I turn around and see Bucky standing a few steps behind me smiling.

"Wow,your beautiful." he says as he hugs me carefully.

"I'm so nervous." I admit.

He chuckles"So is Steve.It's driving Tony crazy."

I flush"Is it time to leave?" I ask.

"Almost. I came to give you ladies your hour notice." he says loud enough for us all to hear"And to warn you,the press is looking for you and Steve so be careful." he kisses my head and leaves. I take a deep breath and rub my tummy.

"It'll be fine. Happy brought in extra security." Pepper reassures me.

I nod"Good. Good. " I say calming enough to sit down. Before I know it,an hour has passed and Happy,Sam and Clint are here to escort us to the venue. I take Happy's had as I grab my flowers and see Sam helping Peggy. They lead us out to the limo and happy drives away to the venue,my thoughts on Steve.
