I help Caitlin step down from the counter still feeling the burning sensation on my lips. God, I want her. Someone yells for me again. "Barry!" Caitlin goes in front of me and rushes out the room. I smirk knowing I have that effect on her. I walk out the room closing the door behind me. Caitlin is already way ahead of me. I walk to the cortex and see Iris talking to Caitlin. I don't think they saw me so I just listen to their conversation."Hey, do you know where Barry is?" Caitlin looks up from her computer."I-l think I saw him around the lab but l-I'm not sure. Why, did you-did you need something?" Iris's smile grows. "Yeah, um-he had... How do I say this. Well, he told me he loved me last night and I just wanted to give him my answer." My eyes grow wide. No,No,No. God No. I look at Caitlin and see the sadness in her eyes. Please don't be mad Cait. Please don't think I lied to you. "Oh. Um and what would that be?" I see the hurt she so desperately tries to hide. "Well I was going to say that I loved him too. I have been thinking about it for sometime, and I want to see where this relationship goes." Caitlin has a blank expression but she quickly covers it up with a smile. I stood there frozen, not knowing what to do."That's great. I'm so happy for you two." I have a internal battle with myself. Why did Iris have to come today. Finally deciding that I should say something.That's when I come out of hiding."Hey Iris".
