Chapter 17: Get Your Girl

Barry's Pov:

   3:45 am. It is now 3:45 am. My head is running through memories and moments in my life. Most of them are on Caitlin Snow. I just want to run to her. I know she's the one that I love. Yet I'm still here. If I could just figerue out a way to tell her then maybe she can forgive me. Just maybe we could be together. Now that's a laugh. Caitlin will never forgive me. But that doesn't matter to me. I love her. I'm in love with Caitlin. I role to by side facing the blank wall. Tomorrow I'll break it off with Iris. I have too. I can't just keep hiding my true feelings. Tomorrow is the day I will tell Cait how I feel about her. With that in mind. I fell asleep with a smile on my face.

   I have never been happier to wake up in the morning. Speeding around the room like a mad man woke up Iris. "Barry, what's wrong? Are you alright?" I look over at her, finally finishing getting ready.  "Yeah I just-uh" Come on Barry think of something. "I just thought that we could to go Jitters for a coffee date." "Of course we can go Bar. But next time can you wake me up with you so I could get ready with you too." Yeah "next time". " Yeah, okay". I sit on the bed as I watch Iris run around getting ready. When she's finally finish, we walk out the door. Me grabbing my wallet and phone. I pick up the keys and I drive me and Iris to Jitters.

Jitters:

   Once we're there I open the door for Iris and I. " So you go get a table and I'll get the drinks?" I see her nod but before she goes I ask her what drink would she like. "One Flash would be good." "Okay." I walk to the line which was not that short and order our drinks, then paying for them . I go to sit down with Iris. " So, what was the reason for this surprise coffee date." I then freeze up. "Oh well-um you see-i, um" "You okay there Bar?" I simply nod " Iris I-" Before I can say anything my name is being called for our coffee. I get out of my seat. I grab our coffees, me also getting a Flash. I walk back to Iris. "Here you go. One Flash." "Thanks Bar." I take a deep breath. Thinking about a way to tell her I want to break up and that I love Cait and not her. Before I can say anything I am again intrupted by some noise going on in the front. I look over and my eyes widen on who it is. Caitlin. I calm down so Iris doesn't ask questions. Her still on her phone, sipping her coffee. I'm still staring when I see her look at me. She looks at me then in a quick second looks back at the man she had bumped into. I see them talk, then he gets out a pen and write something on her hand. The guy was walking away but Caitlin calls after him, asking him his name. He replies with Julian. He then walks away. Why does Caitlin care about his name? Don't tell me. Am I too late. Did I miss my chance with her. I'm still staring at her as she walks out the door smiling. I sigh. Another guy I have to worry about. Damn, Why do all this guys come after her when I start to love her. Damn indeed. I that point I'm pissed.  "Iris." God even my voice sounds like it's dripping in anger. "We need to talk." She finally looks up at me. "Yeah, what's up? Are you okay? You seem angry." "I want to break up. I know we have only been dating for so little time but I can't keep lieing. I don't love you that way. I love Caitlin.  I'm in love with Caitlin." I sigh. "Oh.... that's okay I-I understand." She's crying. Great. "Look I love you Iris and I always will but... my heart and soul belongs to Caitlin." " I understand Barry go get your girl." I smile at her. I slid ethe keys to her as  I get out of my chair and she does as well. We hug. I pull away. I step away from her, smile, then speed away. Caitlin Snow you better be ready because I will not lose you that easy. I won't stop until you forgive me. Then maybe you can be love me almost as much as I love you.
