"Draco, Lunas calling you!" Blaise screamed from the balcony. Draco looked around, and blinked coming back to reality. He walked back into the house. "Luna?" He called out and she looked up from her seat in the parlor room. She looked at him worry lines were etched on her features. "I'm fine witch I am a Slytherin after all." I smirked at her and she chuckled. "Sure you are." She rolled her eyes.

She patted the seat next to her. Hesitating I sat down.  She thought for a moment before speaking, "I was wondering if you could help is with Rowena for a couple of days after the baby is born. She just adores Narcissa." The mysterious witch looked at him with pleading eyes. "Sure, Mother would love the company. Plus I could use a cheerful little witch around the manor. Merlin knows we all could." I sighed looking at my feet.

Luna knew he hated being there. That place was plagued with so much evil. Voldemort held his prisoners including her in the dungeons. She shivered remembering her own past come up from the foggy screen that was her wondrous mind. He realised he must have upset her and spoke quietly so as not to startle her too much. "I'll take her when you both need. I am her godfather after all." Luna snapped back to reality and thanked him. He smiled softly at the witch.

Just then an owl flew in through the open garden door. The beautiful coco colored owl sat before Luna waiting patiently to be given a treat. She smiled fondly and hooted at it handing it a seed. Dropping the letter in her hand and taking its treat, the bird cooed back and departed. The letter itself was an elegant shade of gold with a red wax lion seal. The letter was addressed to Luna and Blaise. "A letter? From who could it be do you suppose?" She was speaking in a low voice mostly to herself. As I was about to ask she squeaked. "Oh my!" Just as Blaise walked in completely oblivious to her outburst.

"Rowena just fell asleep. Must have been my awesome baths that put her right to bed, not like her ugly uncle." He started to laugh but when no one laughed with him he looked around. "Little bird?" He was instantly worried. "Luna? Are you alright?" I shrugged when he looked at me. Holding the letter close to her heart, she looked up at him and nodded. "We received it." I looked from Blaise to Luna confused by the way they seemed to act. "We finally received what I always wanted." Blaise zeroed in on the letter. Suddenly as if some one had switched on a light, "Neville Longbottom?" He asked quietly.

She nodded not looking away from his gaze. Blaise simply smiled. "What's going on?" I asked. Blaise talked at me not wanting to look away from Luna. "She hasn't heard from or spoken to him since she got pregnant." I was still lost but decided to let it go. 'I'll ask Blaise later.' I looked back to the witch besides me who still hadn't read the letter. "Go on then witch." She looked at Blaise. He nodded urging her, "Go on little bird, read it and be free. We'll leave you alone." I was starting to stand before she stopped us all. "No." We froze, "You are both apart of my life. You should be here to hear these words. I have nothing to hide." Blaise looked at me. He looked almost scared. We both stayed put and she stared to read.

  'My dearest Luna.

I'm sorry it's taken me so long to reach out to you. You see I wasn't ever really ready to let you go. Until now. My amazing Ravenclaw, you really did take my heart with you when you decided to pick up and leave. Slowly you have given it back to me in pieces day by day. When you left me for that Slytherin, I was broken. Please don't put this away, don't stop reading. I have learned to accept what happened. I'm actually writing you to let you know, I don't blame you. Lovegood, even your name says it all. You will always be in my heart forever engraved as a beautiful memory of what was and what could have been. Always so calm and mysterious.
