"I've known you that long because I see you every night. Not in a creepy way, but in dreams. I've never met you, but I've dreamt about you for my entire life. It started out with both of us being young. You were a toddler, and I was too, but in my wild form, so I was a pup. At night, in my head, we would play all kinds of games, but usually we would play something like tag.

"As I got older, so did you, and what we did changed as well. When we were kids, we still played tag, but we also played hide-and-seek. When we became teenagers, the dreams changed completely. You started chasing me, and I would run. Not like we were playing tag, though. Like you were hunting me."

She shudders, and I ask, "Then why did you go looking for me today?" She shrugs, saying "My first instinct was not to show you my wild form, but my gut was telling me to show you, that I might need you to know the wolf was me." She sighs, adding, "Would you mind if we stopped talking about this?"

I shake my head. "Thanks... It just makes me feel extremely uncomfortable."
