Chapter 8

I sighed as Lyle finished dying the rest of my hair. I was eating ice cream as he decided to dye my hair again, since the last time he did was about a few months ago.

"And like, he just showed up uninvited!" I said as I swallowed the ice cream I had.

"Oooooh darling. Looks like you're in between a bitch fight. How does Selena feel about this?"

"Are you kidding? If I tell her Ashley showed up to my date with Andy, she will freak out on me! Plus, I am not going to fight with her over a guy. You know I will never fight over anyone if the person doesn't care."

"But, Ash cares apparently." He pointed out. I sighed.

"Why is it that I can be so extroverted with you, but with others I'm an outcast."

"Well, I've known you since we were kids. We went through everything, from your dad's death, to that abusive piece of shit." He said. I nodded in agreement.

"I wish I was open. But then again, I wouldn't really trust many people."

"It's alright honey bear." He said as he wrapped my head in plastic. "Not everyone is up to be Extra." He smiled.

"We should watch bad teacher." I said as I watched my best friend eat a chip. He shrugged.

"Ooooooor. We could livestream while we dance. We'll wait while the color gets settled." He smiled nodding.

Andy's POV

I pushed the door of my apartment closed, leaning against the back.

What the hell just happened. Why did Ash show up to my date? The number of questions increased, and so did the levels of my anger. I sat on the couch and took out my phone. I decided to stalk Esther a bit, seeing that she was live on YouNow. I grabbed my computer and pulled her profile up. She was dancing around to We found Love by Rihanna. 

"We found love in a hopeless place!" She sang along, getting lifted by a guy. For some reason, jealousy started spreading through my veins. I took another deep breath. 

"Looks like both Andy Biersack and  Ashley Purdy are on here!" I heard Esther giggle. 

"You better leave us some treats!" The guy said. I scrolled through the chat, until I stumbled upon Ash's name and picture. 

My fist tightened.

Ashley's POV

It looks like Andrew was curious too. I quickly requested to join in on the livestream. 

"Hmm. Should we accept?" I heard Esther ask the guy. 

"Up to you babydoll." He answered as he was grinding on a stuffed snake .

I chuckled. Soon after, my webcam turned on, and my face appeared next to Esther's cam.

"Hey guys!" 

I heard a loud gasp. 

"You're right! He is cute!" 

"I never said anything about his appearance!" I heard Esther giggle. I laughed softly. 

"I'm guessing this is Lyle?" I smiled softly. Esther nodded. 

"Fifty percent gay babe!" Lyle strikes a pose. 

"One hundred percent straight dude." I raised my hands. He rolled his eyes. 

"What are you doing here?" Esther asked, close to the camera. 

"I was bored." I smiled. 

"You should come over!"  Lyle said. I chuckled. 

"Alright. I'll be there in about 20 minutes." Esther and Lyle cheered. 

"We're not going anywhere!" Esther smiled as she drank some Jack Daniels. I smiled and closed my laptop. 

20 Minutes later

I finally arrived to Esther's place. I knocked on the door.  Esther greeted me, her hair already washed and dried.

"Ash! You actually came!" 

"Nothing compares to!" Lyle sang along to crushcrushcrush by Paramore. I chuckled. 

"Of course I came. I wouldn't miss this for a minute."

"Ash! Hey bud how's it going?" I heard a strangely familiar voice. I looked around and saw Andrew. Damn him. 

"Hey Andy!" I smiled. "When did you get here?" I asked sitting next to him. I watched as Esther chugged down more alcohol. 

"I barely did." He smiled lifting a red solo cup full of beer. 

"Nice." I nodded. 

"Ugh you guys are boring as hell!" Lyle complained. "Esther is having more fun than you two, and she's an introvert." Lyle laughed as he pointed at Esther. She was dancing to My Chemical Romance. She giggled and then, Fire by Sleeping with Sirens started playing. I stood and walked over to her, but Andrew beat me to her. My hand curled down into a fist. 

*Ding Dong!*

I looked over at lyle, who opened the door and greeted Selena and some other guy. Great. 

"Baby!" She squealed and jumped on me. I groaned and sighed. 

"Hey Selena." 

"Sometimes they say this should feel something like fire! 'Til it burns you and you can't! No, you can't remain the same! Stay the same, stay the same, stay the same! I can't change!" Andy and Esther sang along. Esther was smiling and wrapped her arms around Andy's neck, while Andy had his on her waist. I growled lowly and pushed Selena away, walking out the door. 

"Babe!" Selena followed. 

"Go back inside Selena! I don't want to do something I will regret!" I growled at her. I heard her whimper and walk back inside. I sighed and looked around for something to throw, or something to hit. 

The only thing that occurred to me was the most stupid thing it could ever. I swung and hit my hand against the brick wall.

"Fuck!" I groaned as my idiotic mind took in the consequence. I sighed and leaned against my car, trying to calm down before going back inside.

"You're trying too hard." I heard a deep voice. I sighed as the smell of cigarettes filled my lungs.

"Why do you want her. I saw her first." I growled.

"We're not little kids, Ashley. We will do this the right way. Start a war." Andy said.

"Are you even serious about her?"

"I am now."

"So that date meant-"

"You ruined it, so no. It didn't mean anything."

I sighed.

"What would we do in this "war" you're suggesting." I said as I raised my index and middle fingers, motioning a quotation sign.

"Whoever wins her first." He took out his hand, waiting for me to shake it.

I laughed softly. "Are we really doing this?"

"Yes. If you don't want to, I will claim victory and take my beautiful girl." I thought about it for a second.

"You have yourself a war, Mr. Biersack." I said as I grabbed his hand and shook it.

"May the best man win." He said.

"Indeed my friend. Indeed."
