rose walked in and saw everyone, and just thought they were new friends.
"hello!im rose."
"hey rose, i didnt expect to see you today!" jake tried to sound enthusiastic
"are these new friends? i havent seen them here before."
"yes rose they are! but they are very tired, and need to rest, so i need you to play without me today, is that alright?"
"umm yeah i guess so, if you realy cant." rose seemed extremely disappointed.
she walked out the door and they both turn to him,
"you know who that was right!? the mayors missing daughter!"
"i know full well who that is, he dumped her here because she has multiple personality disorder, they didnt want people to know there was a bad gene in the blood line, so they faked her disappearance. "
"is that what realy happened? thats so sad."
"not realy, only one of her personalities remembered her past life, the real her." jake got an obvious tone to his voice, and they knew to stop asking questions.
jake set up a bed on the couch for kira, and todd said he could sleep in the chair.
"better not tell him what happened in that chair" he thought to himself.
and they said kiras mom could share a room with jakes mom.
"so we need more details about what we are getting ourselves into." kira said with an attitude.
"i dont exactly know yet, but i know they way the trucks go to dump people. maybe if we snuck onto one, after the next dump, we could get into the capitol."
"not a good idea" todd finally spoke up.
"what do you mean" jake said, slightly flustered.
"first off they check all of the trucks after the dumps, for abandoned infants. not to mention the top notch security inside, the only way you are going to make it in is if you have a hacker."
"well im the brawn in this operation" kira said with confidence.
"so that makes me the info guy i guess." said jake
"i have some training in hacking and such, and im very familiar with the security system of the capitol." explained todd.
they both stared in awe.
"so are you like a genius?" jake stupidly asked,
"no, not even close" he answered
they all started laughing
"i guess this is bonding right ?" exclaimed kira
"yeah!" both todd and jake exclaimed
"but im wondering if you are realy the brawn"jake pestured
"how dare you! im definitely stronger than you!"
"oh yeah!then lets arm wrestle!"
they both plopped down with todd being the ref

right when todd said one kira slammed jakes hand on the table.
" i didnt even have a chance! how are you so strong?"
"a lot of training!"
they all played for hours, this was the first time in a while any of them had smiled.
