[Completed] Clay, Lance, and Macy - Two Knights and A Princess

Chapter 2

What Clay wasn't aware about, is that Lance also had a crush on Macy, and still does.

Lance wasn't the closest to Macy, but he was aware that the King was looking for a man for Macy to be wed and become the new King, and he desperately wanted to be the new King. Not for the throne, but for the Princess. He loved her dearly.

Lance saw what happened a few moments ago, and immediately knew that Clay has a crush on Macy too. He didn't look happy, but he didn't want to hurt his feelings either. So, he decided to keep quiet.

After lunch, he sneaked into Clay's room and saw the box. He opened it to reveal the photo of Macy that Clay owned. He was both angry and sad, but, who could he blame? Aaron once told him that before he met Whiparella, he had a crush on Macy too. So did Jestro before he fell for Lavaria. And Axl too, but his feelings had melted away for some reason only he himself would know. Macy is incredibly attractive and beautiful, it's no wonder that the guys love her so much, and she is one of the most honourable members of the Nexo Knights. Even she herself didn't know about their feelings for her, as well as her popularity among males.

Lance remained silent. He didn't know what to say. He went out of Clay's room and saw Axl, Aaron, Jestro, and Macy, looking at him, surprised.

"Why are you in Clay's room, Lance?" Aaron asked him.

Lance tried hard not to panic. And then, he had an idea.

"I'm in Clay's room?!?" He then opened the door of Clay's room and pretended to look around. "Holy moly! I was in his room all along?!? I'm so stupid! I just went in and slept for a while, but I didn't notice that it's his room at all! Tell Clay that I'm sorry and remember to tell him that it's an accident. I'm going to the living room now, ciao!" Lance said as he walked calmly towards the living room and sat on a sofa as he sighed in relief. The others looked puzzled but decided to do what they're told to do.

Lance thought for a while after he sat down: What should I do about this? I love Macy too, but I didn't want to fight...

Lance thought and thought and thought, until he fell asleep, for real...
