Chapter 3

After lunch, Clay went back to his room to meet Merlok, who somehow managed to go into Clay's laptop on his table.

"What did you want to tell me, Merlok?" Clay asked his uncle.

"You...have a crush on Macy, didn't you, my child?" asked Merlok.

Clay blushed as he nodded.

"Merlok, I dunno what to do about this. Macy is just soooooo cute and adorable... She's like an angel! I can't help but fall for her, and I don't know what and how to tell her. "

"Clay, my child," Merlok said. "As an honourable Knight, you have to be brave and courageous, not only on the battlefield, but also for your feelings for someone. I'm sure that Macy will accept you, my child. For you are a role model to her, and she'll be happy if she has you for her boyfriend...and maybe future King."

Clay blushed as Merlok just smiled.

"What should I do, Merlok? What should I give to her?" Clay asked.

"You should believe in yourself that you can do this. Just tell her that you care for her, and hope that she could be your girlfriend... Oh! And remember to promise that you will cherish your relationship with her and you will love her with all your heart. She doesn't like pretty gifts, as she isn't a girly girl. But, if she loves you too, she would want your heart as a gift. Give her all of your heart, not literally, though. Heh heh heh..."

"Gee, thanks, Merlok. You helped a lot!" Clay thanked him as he returned to where he should be.

Aaron, Axl, and Jestro had been listening to their conversation. Macy was taking a shower at the time.

"Did you hear that, guys?" Aaron asked his friends. "Clay has a crush on Macy!"

"I heard that!" Axl replied. "That's so romantic! Right, Jestro?"

"Yeah!" Jestro answered. "My buddy's finally gonna get him a gal! *gasp* I heard footsteps! Scram!!!"

The three of them then rushed to the living room as Macy came out of her room and walked towards the living room as well. She saw the three of them minding their own business, and noticed a sleeping Lance on the sofa.

"Lance? Lance! Wake up!" Macy shook him as he opened up his eyes wearily and saw the Princess standing in front of her.

Lance blushed instantly.

"Are you okay, Lance?" Macy asked. "You look tired...and red."

"I-I-I really am tired. So I decided to sleep for a while. Thanks for caring about me, Princess. I'm gonna go wash my face. "

As Lance walked towards the kitchen sink, Aaron, Axl, and Jestro looked at him, while grinning mischievously.

"Did you guys see his face?" Axl asked the two of them. "He's BLUSHING! Are you guys thinking what I'm thinking?"

Aaron and Jestro looked at each other as they smirked. Then the three of them whispered together:

"Love triangle!"

Macy watched Lance walking towards the kitchen as she sat down on the sofa Lance was sleeping on. Then, she thought about something.

Lance is just so charming and handsome! But Clay... No no no no no... Macy, you shouldn't do this! You shouldn't love the two of them at once! This is...inappropriate! But, dad gave me an order that I must... Oh no, don't think about this, Macy! You have your own rules! You choose who you love, not your dad! But, who should I choose? I love both of them equally...
